Spent 4 nights at Kensington Place- what a special place! The location is superb and the views beautiful , the room was perfect ! The staff exceptionally accommodating and extremely efficient! The breakfast was excellent and elegant! The atmosphere relaxing with Tale Mountain and Lion head watching over us!

Loved this hotel in a beautiful suburb with amazing views of Table Mountain. We were in room 1 at the top of the house, it was perfect apart from the odd bathroom door which does not fit the door space completely! Room had under floor heating which was lovely for winter. We have stayed in CPT many times but what... More

We stayed at Kensington Place for three nights on our honeymoon, and their attention to detail was simply amazing! They knew and remembered everything about us - definitely made us feel like VIPs. They did a lovely champagne and roses setup for us for our special trip, and before we even arrived had made a number of reservations for us... More

We've stayed at a number of boutique hotels in Cape Town in recent years and Kensington Place undoubtedly offered the best experience. While we initially encountered a few kinks in one room that forced us to move to another, the situation was handled professionally. The quality of the bed and the linens were top-notch, helping to make the room one... More

Beautiful small guest hotel - cross between a B&B and a hotel- in a secluded high end neighborhood up the hill from all commercial fronts. maybe a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast and snacks/lunches are excellent, and the staff is there to arrange restaurants (and transport) to first class places. The wind does blow since it's near... More

What a great hotel!! We stayed for 5 nights while exploring Cape Town for our first time. We found it quaint with amazing service. We looked forward to breakfast every day because it was better than most restaurants. We enjoyed the location away from the typical tourist locations. We walked to dinner on Kloof street most nights and felt safe... More

One finds the Kensington Place tucked into a residential area, but only a short walk from restaurants and stores. The small hotel, perhaps, no more than 8 rooms provides a modern atmosphere with an incredibly high level of service. Our superior room with king sized bed, large desk area, and in floor heating offered an unusual bath set up with... More

Kensington Place is a lovely experience. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Michael who, rather than swamp us with check in paperwork, welcomed us with a glass of bubbly by the open fire. Michael was so friendly, welcoming and helpful - he even managed to sort us out dinner at The Pot Luck Club which was a... More

This hotel is such a gem and we couldn't find fault with it. The staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The location is great, as it's in a residential area, so K.P. feels like you are returning to your very own comfortable and luxurious home. During our stay we talked to several couples, who were...
