My experience at planet africa was not good. Other than the bar man, the staff were rude. The rooms were very small and not fully equipt, extremely hot (no AC and the rooms get hot). Worst of all, I had a very significant amount of money stolen when I was staying there. more

My girlfriend and I stayed at Planet Africa back in October for 5 nights. We found it to be a good base for exploring Cape Town and the area around the cape, conveniently located outside of the city centre in the upper-scale area of Sea Point. We stayed 3 nights at this unusual city hotel. Okavango Suites are pretty small, extremely clean and quiet. The room decoration is in an African style with the mosquito net. However, they are not very well furnished (no table, no seat, ...). Only 1 bed, 1 wardrobe and 1 TV. Bathroom is OK with its very large shower. I recommend... more
