We were in Cape Town in February and booked to stay at Cape Heritage Hotel thanks to the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. For those who like old architecture, antique furniture and the old world charm (with modern conveniences) I would highly recommend it. Also, the staff were very helpful right through our stay there. Other than... More

Stayed 4 nights 3/31-4/3. Was very looking forward to it because of the great pictures and reviews online. Turned out to be SUPER DISAPPOINTED. 1. Got Room 110: - Horrible and weird decor. Strong colors, and pictures of people's faces on the wall. It's so creepy that my husband and I had a hard time falling asleep. Every time we... More

After reading all the rave reviews on Tripadvisor I had very high expectations and every one of them was met. We stayed 3 nights here in September 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic décor and extremely comfortable. We loved Cape Town and if we are ever fortunate to visit again would definitely stay here again.

Building has been renovated perfectly. Snug, comfortable lounges, beautiful art in every available space, plush bedrooms with super comfy beds and a surprising amount of space for an old building. We stayed in room 116 as we had our daughter with us and she was ecstatic to get her own room with a tv (the adjoining lounge area between 2... More

I never write reviews, but this hotel was so amazing, I'd be remiss not to comment. The staff is extremely willing to help and a pleasure to be around. The hotel itself is beautiful and charming, especially when compared to the bigger, resort-y types of hotels that are also options. Everything is squeaky clean, and feels almost new, or, at... More

Myself and fiance had 3 nights booked at the hotel for the 10th, 11th and 12th March. The hotel is perfection! The location is fantastic, with loads of fabulous restaurants within walking distance. It is central to all major tourist attractions and with the car park next door such an easy place to come and go from if you have... More

I stayed for 4 nights in Feb 14 in the Cape Heritage hotel, a “boutique” hotel not far from the CBD. The staff were great, the rooms excellent and the food and service first class. Local travel advice was very helpful. My room was facing the street and I slept OK. Well done Bamford and the rest of the Cape... More

The Cape Heritage Hotel is a lovely central 4 star hotel. Lots of character and history. Our room was very nice, spacious and very well decorated. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great hotel located in the heart of Cape Town. We stayed for a week during March 2014. It has a genuine boutique feel with only a small number of rooms set amongst a converted historic building. Most of Cape Town's tourist attractions are within easy reach and the V&A Waterfront is a simple 15 minute walk away.... More

We stayed for 8 nights late February and this was our 7th stay since 2006..... no negatives and endorse the numerous positive reviews. Bree Street is increasingly an excellent location as a base for tourists, with high quality dining options within walking distance. The adjacent staffed car park with reserved bays is another benefit as parking in Cape Town (as... More
