This hotel is in a nice residential neighborhood outside of Cape Town. A great retreat for a few days. It has a very impressive and very well manicured park around it. The Spa and the pool areas are very modern and sleek. The same cannot be said of the standard rooms that are rather, well, standard... In fact we were... more

My sister and I stayed here last week. It is a wonderful hotel- the setting is fantastic. Its away from the hustle of the waterfront ( taxi available from hotel -or shuttle bus) good rooms and lovely grounds, and pool. FOOD- A wide range of breakfast foods. We ate in the square restaurant, very very good food ( at a... more

What a lovely hotel! Fabulous breakfasts (including a choice of about 25 breads/cakes/muffins/croissants/donuts etc), pleasant staff who are very well trained and efficient and helpful. The hotel is close to Cavendish Mall where there are plenty of places to eat, lovely shops, cinemas, a Woolworths (like M&S, but cheaper!). Newlands is about midway in the Southern Suburbs, and well-placed for... more

We stayed in the Vineyard hotel and we enjoyed the wonderful gardens, the beautiful pool and the excellent breakfast buffet (included freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit like mangos, papayas, oranges, grapes, pineapple, fresh salmon, bakery). If hot breakfast is included in your rate you can order anything from scrambled eggs to grilled fish to Belgian waffles with ice cream... more

This is a top-notch hotel with very nice rooms and great service. But what stood out for us was the setting. Even though it is centrally located in Cape Town, the view from the rooms, the patio restaurant and the pool is only of perfectly manicured gardens and Table Mountain in the background. You feel like you are in the... more

I think you will struggle to beat Vineyard for value for money in Cape Town. Although not located in the centre of town, this is part of its charm. It is set in absolutely stunning gardens right on the edge of Table Mountain. The rooms look like they have just been refurbished and our room had a brand new Samsung... more

I stayed two nights on business. After a long flight from the UK the staff were happy to open the bar after midnight to provide snacks and a night cap. Good room , lovely gardens and a pleasure to have breakfast on the veranda loking at the gardens and the hills. No problem to me as the company i was... more

Stayed here as I was going to a conference at CTICC. The hotel and gardens are beautiful. The staff were very helpful going above and beyond. We arrived after an overnight flight, check in is not until 2pm, but our room was ready by 1pm. There is a freshen up room by the pool where you can shower and change... more

Just loved our stay here. We have been before and were a little worried in case it wasn't as good but we were delighted. We had a lovely room and the food and staff are both excellent. Can't wait to go back. more
