Stayed for 2 nights. Its a 3 star hotel. Location is in central Cape Town and very accessible to anything you need, that's what make the price reasonable. Don't be fooled with the high rise building, the hotel is below the 10th floor. Excellent staff. Breakfast is served in a Deli next door and was good. Only drawback about this... More

Whilst l enjoyed staying at the hotel as l liked the location and helpful staff but the place needs a revamp. The noise levels coming from surrounding rooms was totally unacceptable, l could hear TV's, taps running, toilets flushing and people talking as if they were in my room. l stayed for several weeks and never once could l get... The Hotel on St. George's is located in Cape Town's business center, immediately across from the train station. It is an expensive area if you're searching for a hotel, which is why St. George's is a good choice for the budget-savvy customer. Undoubtedly, it's a tad worn, and the evidence of changes over the years are obvious (the doors were... More

Stayed at the Hotel on Georges one night. Booking was very easy and efficient, staff was very helpful with check-in and everything was explained well. The hotel and the rooms are on the old side ( or at least the room i stayed in ) but everything was clean and comfortable. There is no room service or on-site restaurant which... More

My Partner and I stayed at the St Georges Hotel for 9 nights in Feb. We can not say enough how much we enjoyed the accommodations, the staff and the breakfasts. Clean, comfortable, great location...did we say how nice the staff were? We had a view of the mountain which was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in February. Good, safe location, but the area is dead by 6pm. Supermarkets woolworths and Pik and Pay are nearby, closed at 7, and no sale of wines after 6pm. Lots of little stores nearby and a 10 minute walk down long street to catch the hop on hop off bus. I stayed... More

Stayed there in 2012. Had a very nice experience. Room was tidy, toilet was clean, hotel staff was very receptive and breakfast was great. 15 minutes leisure walk to V&A Waterfront during the day. 5 min walk to Long Street. If you are a clubber, there is an awesome night club on the 31st floor of the building called Level... More

The hotel is excellently located, but it is super outdated and needs a massive upgrade in furniture, facilities (lifts, doors, etc.) and the little tv with scrambled signal is an irritation. Having said that, the valet service is quite cool.

This is rather a business hotel but still alright for a overnight stay for families. Very clean and descent rooms with a beautiful view of Cape Town and the Table top mountain. The hotel is right in the center of Cape Town and big shopping malls and restaurants are near by. The metro is just beside the hotel.

I stayed here for three nights in a superior room. It was good value for the location. The breakfast was served in a nearby cafe and was excellent. The room was very outdated. The bathroom was vile. Taps falling off the wall, stained bathtub, two miserable ceiling lights. The bed was ok. The room was quiet and spacious. There was... More
