Service was ok. Breakfast was good enough to start the day on. The room was shabby and dated. The sheets on the bed were clean and looked as though they were changed daily. At that price i expected far more, this hotel would be reasonable value at $40/night or less, but for what i paid it was the worst value for money I have had in a very long time! Stayed at the Ritz for a week in mid-November - saw some poor reviews before setting off but these seem to be mainly because of older rooms which are being refurbished. We were in a nice room that had been recently redecorated - great views over the bay. Good area with shops and restaurants, walkable around shoreline to V&A. more

Ritz was located at the hear of the city and hence was very easy to commute to different parts of Cape town. Its 5 mins walking from the sea. The quality of rooms was normal. more
