This is a down-to-earth hotel with cosy rooms providing all the basic necessities. In fact, the room we were given was very spacious. (Our tour leader told us that we were given one of the more spacious rooms.) Breakfast was satisfactory and service was good. On the whole, a very comfortable hotel. No complaints. more

We just loved this hotel the moment the taxi dropped us off outside after a long flight. The staff at the reception were polite and efficient and made us feel very welcome. Cape Town Lodge is close to the Parliament and its on the main road. Its functional, clean and the rooms are a decent size but its like staying in a large travel chain hotel. At a mid-price this was OK but I would recommend staying in Camps Bay, not in Cape Town CDB! more
