I stayed in one of the loft rooms, a suite on the 9th floor with great views across the city towards to Lion's Head and Table Mountain. For the price I paid it was a great deal, although the booking website claimed it was offering an 85% discount for some reason. Not sure if it would be worth paying the... More

We stayed for 3 days. On the first morning I reported the partially blocked basin and broken extractor fan in the bathroom - nothing was done about it. I reported it again that evening, again nothing was done. It was still like that when we left on day 3. The room was not serviced on day 2, they forgot. Must... More

Wasn't as high standard as we were told. Rooms were not as big as advertised and we arrived back at 3pm to find duvets on floor and room not cleaned and no towels! Breakfast was really good though which was the only good thing about hotel. We asked for a late check out and were told hotel was fully booked,... More

I stayed in this place with my wife on our honeymoon and it was a pleasant surprise. The only down side is the parking which can get you parked in if you arrive late. The hotel is spacious with a lovely bathroom. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were also accomodating.

This hotel is very good quality for SA Standards however compared to the United States it would be considered average. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean with the outside rooms having a great view of the surrounding city and mountains however the elevators are extremely slow. Another negative was the paid wi-fi. There is a... Lovely hotel . Clean rooms with good facilities. Occasionally had to remind about replenishing toiletries. Reception staff....Florence, Tamsin, and Simone all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our driver , Ramirez , was great fun and informative. The Butchers Grill restaurant was fantastic....is there a better steak in Cape Town ? !

This is what I call a 2 star hotel by US standards. It's old, dated and has poor service all around. When we checked in we were greeted by quite an unfriendly receptionist and she had a very poor attitude. Poor job for management for putting a person like that in front desk. Things got worse for us, we were... More
