The rooms are old Art Deco, with sherry on arrival. The bath was huge, as was the room and very affordable. The staff were so friendly one lady at reception even leant me her umbrella to use when we walked to dinner for the night. If you're looking for something easy and friendly, Cape Town lodge is it. It's also... More

The rooms have great views - ours had a view of Table Mountain. The staff were helpful but we had a problem with our television and it took three calls to sort out. Parking is a huge problem. Fortunately we were able to find parking with easy access. Some parking bays could result in you being parked in. It would... More

The room was comfortable with the basic amenities. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Two minor complaints. Internet was not reliable and more expensive than it should have been. Also one of the people at the desk recommended a couple of restaurants that were overpriced and with bad food.... More

The loft room on the ninth floor was large with a good view of Table Mountain. Room had a nice kitchen with plates and utensils. I found the staff to be accommodating and courteous. Parking is a little tight As previously stated you have to pay for WiFi and Parking

A very nice luxury hotel in the middle of the city just a 5 minute walk to Long Street and very close to Table Mountain. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much to ask. The breakfast was above average and had a very large selection to choose from. Would recommend

We had a very pleasant 11-night stay at the hotel. Cape Town Lodge is conveniently located - it's only 5-mins walk to the city centre where the restaurants, museums and cathedral are located. However it is not found at the heart of CBD in the midst of a busy road junction. You enjoy a fairly tranquil rest and the convenience... More

Location is a plus point, few members of the staff are courteous but some times they can be not so guest friendly. Ironically they charge you for Wifi this was odd as almost all the hotels i stayed offer Wifi as complementory. Rooms are big and neat. You can walk around the streets for food or some shopping. Can hire... More

After spending seven days on safari my wife, myself and anoughter couple toured Addo National Park then made our way down the Garden Route to Cape Town. We stayed two nights at the Cape Town Lodge in downtown Cape Town. The hotel is convienent to the Strand and Warf area. Four star accommodations. Very satisfied.

This Hotel is in a great location as it is close to major attractions and amenities. However, the staff at this hotel are rather rude and not attentive to customer needs. On my arrival day the safe was not working in my room and there was no price list for the mini-bar fridge. I had to go down to the... More

We spend the weekend at the Lodge, we where happy with rooms, facilities and staff but had the following problems. We did not know that as a gust of the hotel you still pay R60 parking per day. Also our deposit was put through as a sale and we needed to ask for for a refund when we left. Make... More
