Great Location, really good position for easy access to all of Cape Town and if you ask for mountain view rooms a great view of table mountain. The rooms are clean and not too small. They are furnished simply but all you really need for a city stay. The Breakfast was a good standard and the staff were all very... More

How can something which looks like a tower block be called 'boutique'? The only things going for it are its location (if you have a Table Mountain view) and the fantastic staff. Otherwise, really it is a step-up from a hostel; and in fact a couple hostels around the corner looked far more boutique/Art Deco. The room was a nice... More

Hotel is in a great location to get to the waterfront wharf and city center. Shopping right around the corner, The right room will give you a great view of Table Mountain.. A wonderful park nearby and SA museum right across the street. We only had breakfast, which was fine. The rooms we had needed an update. The bathroom toilet... More

The Cape Town Hollow Hotel is ideally located in the Cape Town city centre very close to the company gardens and the state house tynhuis (which is the presidential residence in Cape Town). Some rooms are small and the city has some noise at night but all and all a good choice for the city centre.

We found this hotel just right. It was in a great location - across from The Company Gardens and the SA Museum and the view of Table Mountain from our window was great. It was extremely windy but the view was great and we did get to go up Table Mountain on our last day in Cape Town. The walk... More

Arrived with vouchers for two rooms, staff could not find either. Eventually got a room. Room was fair, good view but bathroom pokey. "Kitchen area" looked half completed. Could not open fridge, had to move it. TV was old and half the channels were not working. The general impression of the Hotel, lifts, bar etc. is that it is a... More

There was a bit of a glitch when we checked in, but it was sorted out very efficiently. The rooms I was allocated was a bit small and poky, but adequate and it did have a great view. And seeing as this is Cape Town, you are not supposed to spend your time in your room anyway! But it would... More

We found this hotel to be very friendly, great rooms in a great location looking over The Company's Garden and great views of Table mountain from our room. The staff were very friendly , the breakfast was good and the rooms big, clean and well furnished. Would recommend this hotel.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel…I feel bad I cannot give a more positive review. Unfortunately, our stay started with our flight from Jo’burg being delayed quite a few hours and we arrived at night instead of in the afternoon. The staff at night at Cape Town Hollows were very nice and I give them high marks and lots... More
