It is a long time when i want to travel to a new country ,I search in Tripadvisoer because i think Tripadvisor looks like a family which people tell their ideas about different things like the quality of hotels, restaurants, etc. Many times tripadvisor encourages or dicourages me about my choices. last holiday i traveled to South Africa ,Cape town ,westin hotel.i... The Westin is a very nice city hotel and near to the Waterfront and the city-sightseeing bus is just in front of the hotel. The reception team is very friendly and they are more than happy to help with ticket booking for table mountain etc. The rooms are clean and big enough. All the staff is very friendly and helpful.... Good rooms, public spaces, pool & spa, central location, though need to take a taxi to the waterfront. Corner rooms are very good. Only disappointment is its one of the worst Westin club lounges. Lots of potential, but they require a seated service to offer anything at all. Came across as a most unwelcoming climate, and perhaps a cynical way... More

I was in Cape Town for a week, conference, and was very happy with the hotel choice. The Westin is a very nice hotel, good business standard and with veyr friendly staff. The only small comments would be that the breakfast staff is a bit slow - I ordered toast every morning andactually received it only twice. I would anyway... More

We have been to this hotel twice, about two years apart. In between we have been to many other Starwood Resorts on different Continents and would happily visit all of them again. I see no reason to return here for the third time. This time we were celebrating my wife's 40th birthday so I booked a room as advertised &... More

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars. The facilities were excellent and the front desk staff were outstanding (not a term I use lightly). But there was one irritation that could be so easily fixed. So, they provide free wi-fi, thats good. BUT, the thing logs off every time you close your laptop or stop using your smart... More

While our itinerary in Cape Town kept us very busy the Westin served us well. While being in the business district of down town which became "deserted" after 5pm, hotel shuttles and taxis are readily available to get to the action of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The Westin staff did a marvelous job of attending to our needs while... More

The Westin is a large hotel, full of luxury, big rooms and good restaurants. The executive lounge is a bit small, but caters well for all of it's guests. I'd go back again. Within walking distance of the Victoria and Albert Centre.

The Westin has great decor and finishes from the entrance, rooms, gym and spa. I had this great view where a cruise ship had docked for two days.My room was very spacious, with both a shower and bath and the bathroom has underfloor heating. The bed is king size and super comfortable. In the afternoon I could lounge in the... More
