From the outside the Cape Milner doesn't look great, but don't be fooled, inside it's teaming with sophisication and class. The reception area is contemporary and free internet (depending on room rate) is available 24 hours a day. The staff are pleasant (not excellent but not bad either), particularly those in the restaurant at breakfast who are very attentive. Rooms... more

I just returned from a solo six night stay at the Cape Milner and was more than happy with all aspects of the hotel. It was stylish, beautifully decorated, comfortable, the room was great and had a beautiful, large bathroom and the breakfast, which was included was also wonderful. Everyone was most friendly and the location is wonderful with views... more

I recently stayed at the Cape Milner Hotel during a 10 day business trip accompanied by my girlfriend. We really cannot say enough good things about our stay. The hotels' location, being away from the V&A waterfront is actually ideal for exploring Cape Town. Being literally at the foot of Table Mountain we had a fantastic view from our room... more

I stayed at the Cape Milner on business in May 2007. It is a lovely boutique hotel - the public areas are very stylish, the rooms quite simple and not total luxury - but comfortable and clean. The staff at the hotel are really attentive, and knew my name when I was checking in which is really nice. They were... more

We had five nights here. Its an excellent base for daytrips around Capetown and the west capewith secure car parking and excellent views from the pool area. The rooms are quiet despite being on the main road to Kloof Nek. The restraunt is superb and probably the best food that we had during our tour, also good value also so... more

My husband and I stayed at the Cape Milner for three nights at the beginning of February. It was very disappointing for a few reasons: We were travelling with friends and despite having booked two rooms via the hotel website they had only organised 1. I had to provide a copy of my reservation details to get it sorted. Our... more

After reading the report on the Cape Milner my wife and i were a little hesitant about our booking at the Cape Milner. The hotel was originaly recommended by a friend of ours who had nothing but good things to say about the hotel. As it was just a weekend break away from Jo-burg we thought we would still give... more

We visited this hotel as part of our holiday in South Africa. The hotel had been marketed to us as a top sleek designer hotel, and that was what we expected, which left us very disappointed. There's nothing really wrong with this hotel, but it is not in any way what it wants you to believe it to be. This... more
