I stayed several nights at the Brenwin while visiting family in Green Point. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and shops, while still being in a quiet area. The breakfasts are good, with both a menu and buffet with plenty of variety, and the service is friendly. The garden is a lovely spot to sit in, and everything feels... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in Nov 2014. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was huge and quite clean. The bathroom was large and there were always clean towels and lots of shampoo, soap etc. Breakfast is really good. There is a good selection cold stuff and then there are three or four hot items made... More

Stayed 5 nights in this well located, comfortable, nicely decorated guest house. Staff was friendly and helpful with Cape Town and wine district advise. Breakfast was either buffet or hot ordered. Very good variety. Located 5 minute walk from nearest restaurants, 10 minute walk from waterfront restaurants, shops and Hop-on hop-off bus tour stop. Downtown Cape Town was an easy... More

I generally stay in guesthouses and B&Bs on my travels, as I prefer the more personalised service and atmosphere that hotels usually can't offer. But rarely have I come across a place where this is more true than at Brenwin. To say that the owners (especially Pam) go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated would... More

Comparing this three star establishment with the four star one I stayed at last time makes this one look like a superior four star. I was very surprised at this guesthouse. Rooms were big (perhaps there are smaller ones but this is what I had), well equipped and comfortable. This is a great location and its quick to get around.... More

So why do I give this 5 stars? Lets break this down: a) Very friendly and hospitable staff. Pam, Jenny and Diedra (did I spell that right?) were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. b) Great VFM. The apartment that I stayed in was huge and for ZAR 600 you cannot... More

One of the best Guesthouse I've ever stayed. It's my second time and I will come back again. Big shoutout to Jenni and the ladies of the breakfast time ! They smile, they greet you, they speak with you, they help you.... they are just incredibly awesome.

Staff were very accommodating even before arrival by answering email queries promptly and in a friendly helpful manner. Our 3 day stay was pleasant and comfortable. The room and bathroom were cleaned regularly however the only 2 drawbacks were the bathroom door not closing completely and the safe made a regular beeping noise which was annoying. The breakfast was lovely... More

The best things about Brenwin are the staff and the location. The staff were incredibly helpful, responsive and available for all sorts of things, from fixing the electricity short in my room to helping me figure out how to set the GPS to get me to the Cape of Good Hope. And talking to the breakfast cooks and servers was... More
