We were treated very well upon arrival. The room was fantastic with great views across the harbour to Table Mountain. We were on the 6th floor. I have never seen such a selection at breakfast and the services of the concierge were most welcome in organising taxis and advising us on restaurants which served local dishes, such as Springbok and... This hotel is in the prefect location for any visitors needs. It has interior access to the V&A mall and waterfront, the seas side walking path is just out front and walking distance to the ferry to Robben Island. The views from your room are amazing- weather it be a view of Table Mountain or the Atlantic ocean and Robben... More

A classic 5 star hotel...elegant, helpful and friendly staff, good size rooms and bathrooms, great views. Swimming pool was slightly disappointing (not bad, just very standard). Location is great with some lovely restaurants in the area.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel, which is one of the longer-established in Cape Town, and certainly in the Victoria and Alfred Docks area. Big comfortable bedroom and large bathroom with separate loo, bath and shower. Nice pool deck on a roof terrace with spa treatment rooms alongside. Direct access to the shopping mall which is a... As my husband was celebrating his 84th birthday whilst we were on a 2month holiday in Capetown,I decided it would be a nice treat for him to have afternoon tea at this luxury hotel, and of course I was able to join him in the experience. We were treated like royalty from our arrival until we left. The tea is a three course... We recently stayed at The Table Bay Hotel following a whirlwind tour of South Africa. What a beautiful hotel. We had a room facing Table Top Mountain and for the four days we were there, it was perfectly clear. The location on the V & A Waterfront couldn’t be better. Lovely shops, restaurants and, dare I say it, souvenir shops,... More

We have just stayed for 5 nights at the Table Bay & it was an exceptional experience! The staff & service were extremely professional whilst having individual personalities, which isn't so common in large hotels! We were fortunate enough to have some guided city tours with Naser, one of the hotel drivers who was so passionate & informative of Cape... More

I first travelled to cape Town in 2002, and stayed at The Table Bay. Now, 10+ years later, and for the third time we stayed here, it's still a good choice in Cape Town, despite other great hotels nearby (we've also stayed at Cape Grace in 2011 and it was excellent as well). The rooms are spacious and with plenty... More

Stunning location, very well laid out ground floor. Spent 5 nights there in a corner suite. Room was well laid out, comfortable and clean. Windows can open a little so for those who prefer a little fresh air, this was a plus. Great outside ground floor Patio, looking at Oscar and the beautiful TableBay and mountain as a back drop, great... More
