We stayed here as part of a package with Lion World Travel and we were thoroughly impressed. When we first arrived we had one of the staff immediately give us a tour of the hotel and our room. Our room was nice, it had a great view of table mountain. The free breakfast there was excellent! They had a great... More

My family (kids 9&11 and husband) and I recently stayed at the Table Bay Hotel for 5 nights. We had an incredible time. Not only was the room comfortable and spacious, but the location of the hotel was incredible; we were close to many great restaurants, shopping (there is even a passage to the V & A shopping center), and... The room was fantastic, with a great view of the table mountain and the waterfront. The hotel is right on the waterfront and so close to every activity you want to do while in Capetown. There is a pathway in the back which takes you right to the ocean if you want to get away from the hustle of the... More

We spent four nights at the hotel and loved every minute. We were with a group from New Zealand and everything has been first class, from the minstrel band welcoming us to the amazing breakfasts, and great cleaning services in our room. Every night we come home and our room has been refreshed, our bed turned down, slippers beside bed... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town (May 19 - 23, 2014), where, unfortunately, I was savaged by bed bugs. Naturally, I reported the attack to management who apologized and then assured us that the room would be thoroughly cleaned and the mattress changed. However, all that happened was that the mattress was... More

I stayed here for a week and loved every moment of it. The rooms were amazing, the location was fantastic and the staff were wonderful. The attention to detail with the petals in the rooms at the turn down service topped it off. I'm not a breakfast person but the breakfast buffet is the best I have ever seen. If... More

This hotel is one of the few places that didn't over advertise. The location is ideal for vacation not so good for business. 1. arrival - warm towel at reception - painless and fast. 2. room - mine was a regular King, faced the Bay with a lovely balcony that I had breakfast on. Although the room and the bathroom... More

Impressive from arrival to departure. This venue was a definite step-up from our usual choice of hotel, but special occasions need special venues. We arrived with high expectations, which are sometimes a danger because one is prone to disappointment, but there was nothing here that we could find fault with. This is despite the fact that when a hotel sticks... More

It's big but manages not to feel impersonal. Rooms are a decent size with big bathrooms and comfy beds. You get views of the ocean (and Robben Island) or Table Mountain Breakfast is the best choice I've ever seen - make sure you're hungry! Nice bar and food/drink prices are pretty reasonable for the Waterfront. Even room service didn't break... More
