My wife and I have recently returned from South Africa, having stayed at the Cape Grace while in Cape Town. The hotel and staff are exceptional and our stay was an experience we will never forget. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, we were made to feel special, important and most welcome. The staff, cuisine and... More

It's no wonder this hotel has such a good rating, it is a superb hotel. The position is good, the entrance impressive and whichever way your room faces you get a view. We had a fair sized room on the ground floor, which was however still an elevated position and which faced directly onto the marina. The windows/doors opened out... More

This is the hotel that all other hotels should study to learn how to take care of a guest! When they greet you at the door (by name usually) and say "Welcome Home" they actually mean it and make you feel that you are truly at home. Everyone of the staff was so helpful all the time. The 3 concierge... More

The Cape Grace is the only hotel I will ever stay at when visiting Cape Town. Their attention to detail, from reception, to the concierge, to the complimentary chauffeurs (in a BMW 7 series) puts them in a class all their own. If you have an opportunity to ever visit this city, I recommend this hotel without reservation. Perfection.

This is a Incredible hotel. Very Elegant, service, the location is perfect for walking to anything, comfortable rooms, the restaurant is excellent, the bar is nice ... It has it all and then some. We were absolutely blown away by the incredible service and attention to detail. Its the kind of experience that you only expect at the world's top... More

Best service I have had in a long time. Easy to get to everything in central Cape Town. Good food. Great help from the staff for everything. There was some construction when we first got there, but never caused a problem. The restaurant did finally open up the last day we were there, and we did have a treat at... More

My husband and I spent a few nights here at the start of our honeymoon last year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The biggest advantage to this hotel is the location. It is centrally located near the wharf so we were able to go walk there everyday. The security also was tight -- there is a gate that would require... More

We stayed at the Cape Grace during our honeymoon. The service was marvelous. They had a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room when we arrive. The staff was very helpful. Breakfasts in the dining room were well done and complete - continental or full. We had dinner one night and found the food well-prepared and tasty. My wife had... More

Nicely located with easy access to the waterfront and Robben ferry. Walk to the city (Long Street) is reachable for most people. Even hikes Signal Hill and Lions Head can start from the hotel. For further distances there is a limo available. The hotel should to used as a school for other hotels for how to run a hotel. We... More

If you are going to visit, this is the place to stay. Conveniently located near the wharf and many sights. Easy ferry to Robben Island to see where Mandela was imprisoned for 22 years. Be sure to visit the wine district at Stellenbasch also while in Cape Town.
