I did not expect to find such a nice place. The service was great, the room was clean and organized. The hotel answered all our requests. Very well located, with a great view of Lion's Head mountain *_* Only negative was that they did not provide a remote to acess the parking lot, so, every time we want to leave,... More

My brother from New York came to visit 'Mom' in Cape Town with his wife and family - 2 married children with 5 grandchildren and a single son. Though I live in Cape Town, they chose to book a room for me in the Amalfi Suites with them to keep us all in close proximity. The rooms are adequate, clean... More

This place is very basic, but also very safe. We spent a week here in October, 2014. The shower leaked water on to the bathroom floor everyday, and the hotel staff's response was to mop up the water with bath towels, everyday. The place is pricey for the amenities offered. Apart from that, the location is excellent, a short 5... More

We flew down to Cape Town from 24th July - 28th July, 2014. for a long weekend at the Amalfi Executive Suite Hotel. We arrived late at night, but the security was amazing, everything was perfect . He even went the 'extra mile' to get us some milk for our breakfast. The suite itself was very comfortable, with everything we... More

Although we enjoyed our stay and it was a great base to tour Cape Town from, I won’t call it ‘executive’. The price was a bit high – even if it was high season and it was not as if the place was packed! Anyway, we enjoyed the setting and accessed tourist sites easily from there. Although the place was... First the pros: The housekeeping staff was quite nice. The rates are outstanding for high season in Cape Town. The restaurants downstairs are good enough. The views to the right and left of the -07 rooms are pleasing. If you run out of something, there is likely a shop nearby at which you can stock up. The elevator up and... More

Had a terrific stay here. Room was a small studio on the third floor. Included a balcony overlooking the street below. Fantastic location with many local restaurants and grocery stores within a brief walking distance. Bus stops were within very easy walking distance with the buses giving you access to virtually the entire city. Overall an awesome visit.

Don't expect the Ritz, full service amenities or room service. It is not what this place is about. It is simple a place to lay down your head after a day's activity of beautiful Cape Town. Do expect a little "road noise" as this place is on a main road. Do not expect a full on sea view as you... More

We stayed here for 7 nights. We had a double room with balcony and air con. The room had fridge, microwave and coffee. Location wise it is only a few minutes in a taxi to the beaches at Cliften or into the waterfront. Our room was clean and of good standard. It is basic but does the job perfect if... More

Forget about sleep, the gulls will keep you awake. The staff are super friendly and the room was adequate except for the peeling paint in the bathroom, cracked tiles and the fact that if you take a shower the bathroom gets flooded. Nice location but the terrace from our room looked straight onto a roof and an adjacent building with loads... More
