I stayed at The Glam for 5 nights in July. The staff were absolutely lovely and was always willing to help me with directions or advice. It Is situated in a great location! Markets are right outside your doorstep, Long Street is only a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent 2 nights in The Glam hotel and found the place suitable to our needs: location is indeed excellent and room was comfortable. Though we took the somewhat strange option of room with shower (we stayed in the Marlene Dietrich room), but shared toilet, we managed with it and didn't face any problem with it. The room has good... More

Greeted by extremely nice staff who recommended multiple restaurants, shops, activities, etc. Rooms were very nice, tastefully decorated, beds were comfortable. We stayed on the second floor, at the time I had no idea that there was only a shower in the room. A glass enclosed shower, which was nice, but could be awkward if you are traveling with only... The staff at the reception were very friendly and pleasant. The location was excellent. We stayed for only one night (Deluxe Room) so it didn't bother as much but there was no separate bathroom in our room...The toilet and shower was in the same room as where the bed was..which was a bit awkward. Luckily there was a shared bathroom... More

I spent 5 Nights at “The Glam “and I must say the stay definitely will last long in my memory. The Theme and the décor are definitely impressive and made me feel real good. I have a decade experience in the hospitality industry and have never come across people like Nawaal and Rachel. Their positive attitude and swiftness are 2... More

The hotel itself is not badly located - tucked behind Greenmarket Square, the evenings and early mornings feel a little dodgy when walking outside. The rooms are well decorated and clean, but lacking in what one would expect from a 'boutique hotel'. No toiletries other than shower gel, no dressing table, no hair dryer (wife joining from the 2nd night... More

Where do I start - 1) beautiful rooms; spacious, glamorous decor, spotless. 2) Very helpful staff; I was quite apprehensive before visiting South Africa for the first time but the staff made me feel at ease. They have a guest liaison who helped organise my trip to Cape Point, Stellenbosch, Simons Town, Table Mountain and to/from the airport. 3) Perfect... More

Interesting to read other reviews.....you get what you pay for and in this instance it was cheap as Che but just the bees knees excuse the slang. Smiles go,a long way, breakfasts were superb, room was clean, nothing was a problem. Easy access to all we wanted, would go again

Rooms are very nice and clean. Shared bathroom with only one toilet to share between all the rooms for ladies is absolutely ridiculous. No extra toilet paper provided anywhere, have to ask and wait for it...Walls are very thin, can eavesdrop without even listening.Showers in the room a bit weird, but better than sharing.Much better places to have breakfast.Lift is a bit of a... We cannot complain about the nice and clean rooms although it had a shared bathroom. WiFi was not working but we could use the internet cafe computers without surcharge. Very friendly staff. It was not a good idea to get the overpriced breakfast, supermarket muffins and watery orange juice are not worth it. Instead go for the fabuluous breakfast places... More
