Cascades is a fantastic hotel and was our home base in Cape Town for 4 nights and I couldn't have been happier. I was a bit worried at first since many of the reviews on here said the rooms were super small. So I was imaging like tiny--if you have ever stayed at Yotel in NYC you know what a... More

Having regularly enjoyed the Cascades wonderful breakfast on the deck when visiting Cape Town it seemed to be a good idea to stay in the hotel on our next visit. The current owner completely renovated the hotel froma dilapidated boarding house unto a beautiful six bedroomed boutique hotel. Our room was perfectly furnished and equipped with a large terrace. I had breakfast at the Cascades at the Promenade restaurant. We sat outside (they have blankets if it becomes a bit chilly) and I had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious! Service was good, great spot for brunch on your way exploring Sea Point or inbetween Sea Point and Cape Town.

My usual Cape Town place was booked up for the night, so I just needed one night before moving over to the other place. I found Cascades on TripAdvisor as being a top-rated hotel and significantly cheaper than the others with similar reviews. The hotel was lovely. The room was a little on the small side, but you don't want... More

Really magnificent place to stay in Cape Town. Close to the Promenade stretch and My Citi bus route stop. Beautiful and cosy rooms. Breakfast was one the best I've experienced in a long time. The muffins and croissants, just divine!

Very modern and chic. Though the room was a little small, the space was adequate and well appointed. The staff is excellent. The location is great. Many restaurants nearby or just eat in the bistro. The breakfast was good and if continental is not your bag, they have other choices. I definitely enjoyed my time just wish I was there... More

Close to the sea, banks, shops, food courts, main road with buses and taxes to the city. You could do all your shopping in Sea Point without going to the city centre. Staff always willing to help. Will bring my kids on my next visit.

Having camped in Africa for 2 months, I wanted a night of a bit of luxury and this place delivered on all fronts. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate with an amazing shower and lovely fluffy white towels. There was a separate area to store my bag and hang clothes which meant I didn't have... More

Very nice boutique hotel tucked away between somewhat bigger buildings. Contrary to what you would expect it is calm and silent. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The host Els is a lovely lady who makes you immediately feel at home. Serves Belgian food and a great breakfast. Very close to the sea.
