We have just stayed for the fourth time at Manna Bay and it is still as amazing as it was on the other occasions. It really is difficult to find fault and we love staying here. The service is outstanding, the position is wonderful with fabulous views over the bay and up to the mountain behind. The food is delicious... More

Stayed at MannaBay for 5 nights in the black & white suite. The hotel has 8 suites and is in a residential area above Cape Town. We had an amazing panoramic view of the city with Table Mountain behind us. All the staff were just amazing, so friendly and helpful. One told us "this is your home " which is... More

My wife and I spent five nights in this slice of heaven. Every positive comment in prior reviews is correct. The house and its contents are beautiful, every member of the staff is exceptionally helpful and courteous, and the breakfasts and tea services are delicious. Our only complaint is that it is impossible to control the room air conditioning. They... More

Thank you for your review and feedback. I am glad to hear that our hospitality somewhat made up for your experience with the air conditioning, but this is certainly an issue we plan on rectifying immediately. Our aircon units seemed to have overcompensated with the extreme heat wave that Cape Town has just experienced. We hope that you will come... More

We stayed for one night last weekend and wish we'd had longer. The hotel itself is brilliant and the rooms are great but the service is second to none. There is a delicious, complimentary high tea each afternoon, which should not be missed, and the hotel provided us with free transport to and from our restaurant booking in the evening.... More

9 nights at this hotel and it was hard to leave. The staff knew us very well by this time, our likes, dislikes etc. The butler service is very attentive and all the staff are very friendly. GM Mitch leads a great team including Laura, Robyn and Nolu. They sorted out dinner reservations out with no problem and were incredibly... More

Imagine that you have some very wealthy friends with really great taste in art, and they've invited you to stay in their stunning new modern house halfway up Table Mountain, with panoramic views of Cape Town. Staying at MannaBay isn't like staying at a hotel, even a boutique hotel. It really does feel like you're staying with your friends in... More

Introduced to the MannaBay boutique hotel as a venue by Winefairy. Morning breakfast, full of delights. Exceptional service and fabulous choice of food. Struggling in this heat, we were surprised by a frozen pina colada popsicle to cool us down!

MannaBay is a boutique hotel, akin to a glamorous mansion on the foothills of Table Mountain. The joys of looking out the front of the property to Cape Town harbor and surrounding waterfront and back, directly up Table Mountain never faded. From the minute we arrived the hotel's staff made it very clear that our holiday, not just our stay... More

We just stayed 3 nights at Mannabay. Everything was perfect. Very friendly management and service. Rooms and bathrooms are very nice and everything is very clean. Excellent breakfast, but best of all is tea time: it was so delicious that we weren't hungry anymore at dinner. Often the difference is in the details and Mannabay excels in all the little... More

We stayed here for 1 night the end of our trip to Cape Town in December 2015. I had been trying to book a room here after reading amazing reviews and the only available night happened to be our last night in Cape Town. I have to say it was the PERFECT place in which to end our holiday. From... More
