We stayed here for 4 nights as a treat after backpacking for 4 months. As far as the 4 apartments go this seemed like the best one for views. The bathroom is amazing with a big window looking out on to Table Top mountain. The front windows look out onto Kloof Street where there are lots of bars and restaurants.... More

This is a great lodge to stay in Cape Town. The location is best, near many restaurants and supermarkets. The apartments did give us the privacy which we wanted as a young couple. The backdrop of Table Mountain and the safe environment made our first time visit and stay most memorable. A must in Cape Town!

We stayed in the Mountain view appartement (self-catering) and the view was just stunning! CPL is located in Gardens, meaning that Long Street / Kloof Street is basically round the corner. The appartement is on the first floor and all the windows face table mountain. The balcony is a great spot to sit on and enjoy the views and a... More

We stayed here for three nights at the end of a three week African vacation and we were quite impressed with the location and rooms. Rooms were very clean and the surrounding neighborhood was a pleasant surprise after J'burg. My only concern was the parking situation. When combined with the right-hand drive vehicle, it was challenging to maneuver in the... More

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every single day in this nice and wonderful accommodation. Lena was such a helpful and friendly host, super great! The location is clean and near downtown, you can even walk to the close by restaurants... Our room had a fantastic direct view on the table mountain and downtown. Lovely breakfast... Summa summarum: we... More

We stayed at Cape Paradise Lodge for ten nights. Fantastic view of Cape Town, the bay and Table Mountain. The staff is nice and friendly; premises are kept spotlessly clean. There are often orange-breasted sun birds in the flowers beneath the window and lots of squirrels in the trees; one night we were even greeted by a scorpion in front... More

We enjoyed our stay in the Cape Paradise Lodge very much - we started our South Africa Trip there and Macro told us everything we needed to know about Cape Town and the Garden Route. We liked it so much, that we came back some weeks later, when we returned from our round trip in South Africa. The breakfast is... More

Perfect start for our holiday in SA! Really nice helpful and witty hostess! Beautiful room with stunning views of Cape Town! Easy to get to the restaurants, lots of privacy, really good breakfast with very good omelette, honesty bar, nice pool (although we didn't use it). Nice dogs! Just perfect!

A nice stay very close to Table Mountain and not too far from downtown. We can't say anything about the B& B because we were staying in one of the apartments (rhino apartment). The hosts are extremely friendly and were helping with advice concerning restaurants and activities. The apartment section of Cape Paradise also has a pool - but we... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cape Paradise Lodge. We even prolonged our stay there. The lodge is very well located in Higgovale, a nice area with a lot of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and other facilities nearby. The rooms are very cosy and beautiful, the breakfast always very delicious. Marco and Lena, the hosts, are so friendly and helpful... More
