Suite 301 (Penthouse) is absolutely astounding and we would have been prepared to pay double the asking price for what was offered. The wrap around balcony/deck with its sleek shutters lends itself to the perfect entertainment area. Laying in bed with a view on the ocean was another highlight. Beautiful finishes and tastefully designed interior with crisp bedding and towels... More

We stayed at this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. It's a little misleading, in that it isn't a hotel at all. It's not even a B&B, so not sure how the name relates. We stayed in a comfortable suite; with a small kitchen as you enter, which was never used, a nice lounge area and good size bedroom.... More

The property is still great: - well situated - staff are wonderful and friendly - check-in was fast and efficient (with a great espresso) - rooms are tastefully decorated and well-looked after - aircon and heating is a bonus in Cape Town My issues are that: - the basin in the bathroom is non-functional. This is a clear case of... More

A converted block of apartments. Not is the best location in Cape Town (but not too bad!). The apartments have been very nicely converted into studio units with a very nice bedroom and bathroom and a little kitchenette. (Not sure if all the rooms are identical). Limited parking space .. if you arrive late you may have to park on... More

Stayed at Atlantic Bay for the last two days of our wonderful hoilday in South Africa and what a pleasure it was. The hotel is really beautiful with some nice touches around the place - such as sculptures and paintings. It is extremely clean and the suite we had was amazing with the largest bed we've ever slept in -... More

A contemporary and welcoming boutique hotel with a good location. Shops and restaurants nearby. Easy to catch a bus or taxis to other places of interest. The inside was just perfect. Neat and clean with huge shower. Humongous bed with crispy sheets and heater for the cold winter nights in Cape Town. They have a well stocked mini-bar and a... More

I loved our stay the the Atlantic Affair. We were lucky and got upgraded to a luxury suite. it was more than we expected, a sitting area, kitchnette with stove top and the bed that was amazingly comfortable. Only squabble is the towels on day 2 were not as soft as the ones on day 1.

Thanks for a wonderful stay! Great location, exceptionally clean rooms. Staff could not do enough to help - would definitely recommend. Huuuuuge bed! Unlimited wifi with no connection problems at all was a bonus. Only thing is the seagulls are a wee bit noisy - but you soon get used to them!

Great location - within walking distance to a number of great restaurants - very safe. The fact that breakfast was not included was not a negative as there are so many local restaurants to choose from - and the staff is very helpful in their suggestions. Great for running - only 2 blocks from the promenade - what a way... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Atlantic Affair. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay and would like to let you know that we have installed netting on our roof in order to discourage the sea gulls from landing there. We find this has improved the noise levels a great deal. More

Rooms were fantastic and rivaled many 4 star hotels. Staff were always pleasant and helpful with recommendations for eating out and ordering taxis. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and ability to make a limited meal if required. Only 100+ metres to the sea front, and coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Will almost certainly return.
