Once they have your money you will struggle. The properties are lovely. At the end of your stay you will receive an "extreme cleaning" letter where they will try and keep your deposit, in spite of using their own cleaners. When you call them they say "The computer produces these automatically." There are plenty of other agents in Cape Town.... More

The waterfront apartments are a great home base for out of towners. You are in one of the more secure areas of Cape Town. The Waterfront is only a 5 minute walk, and the walk is safe at all times of day. There are a number of good restaurants in the Waterfront though these options are on the pricier side... More

Great location in the heart of the Waterkant, in walking distance to Cape Quarters Shopping Centre. Apartment is located over two floors. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, A/C, small balconly with harbour view. Downstairs is the second bedroom (facing towards loader street), a shower/toilet, washing mashine, kitchen, small lounge and leading out to a wooden deck with... More

The apartments leased by African Elite are located in a highly secure complex within walking distance to the One and Only Hotel and the Waterfront. Location and security are prime selling points, and the units with views are an extra bonus. While staff are accessible, communications were a bit of a problem. Staff were not clear as to where the... More

We spent three nights in a beautiful waterfront apartment overlooking the marina. The quality of the accommodation is excellent, it's very secure, with key card entry and ideally located to walk to the shops, museums and restaurants of the waterfront complex. So we would definitely recommend this accommodation. Our only problem was with the wifi service - it worked, but... More

We spent 4 days in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apt with a lovely view on the Marina with seals swimming just there. Kitchen equipment was amazing and we cooked dinner 2 nights and breakfast in the morning just for the fun of it. One night we had a problem with a room lights and we were kindly assisted by... More

I stayed in the African Elite apartments for work on a number of occasions. The location is great, above the Cape Quarter shopping centre where you can get anything you need, clothes, food etc. and within walking distance or a short taxi ride to some great restuarants. The apartments are really modern inside and are kept to a very high... More

The apartment was very nice, we got an upgrade to a 2 bedroom and it was very spacious, clean and with a nice terrace on the marina. The location is the best: walking distance from the city and of course from the center of waterfront. The service was also good. Only one negative thing: they were renovating the apartment above and... More

This lovely 2 bedroomed apartment is fabulously appointed. Situated on a marina canal, very spacious (diningtable and seperate lounge area) The bedrooms are both en-suite and very luxuriously decorated. Not in your typical 'African' style, more old-world plush. Soft neutral tones, persian rugs etc. Within a stones-throw from the busy V&A but very quiet. Would highly recommend for a couple... More

We stayed in Juliette, which really was a luxury apartment as advertised, with great views and easy access to the rest of the waterfront. It would be hard to think of a better location for exploring Cape Town. African Elite were also very helpful in organizing an excellent Cape Peninsula tour: our guide Zain gave us a great introduction to... More
