From the moment you arrive at this warm Hotel you are treated like royalty! A welcoming drink while seated at the pool while the formalities are completed. The room was bright, comforting and opulent just like the rest of the Hotel. The pool deck is split into two with a lovely rim flow from one pool to the other. Breakfast... More

I went on my own to stay in Cape Town for a weeks R&R. Now embarking on a solo adventure is a daunting prospect, especially for a young lad like me. But I was greeted with smiles and warmth and felt very welcome and included from the get go. Words cannot justify the outstanding staff they have there, and maybe... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Both gay and hetro friendly. This is a class A++ boutique hotel. The staff is excellent, friendly and attentive. A lovely breakfast is included. Quite a spread. Management is always around to assist you and to make sure that you are having a good experience. The grounds are lovely with 2... More

Where to begin... Let's start with the location. The Glen Boutique Hotel has great restaurants on walking distance, table mountain within 10 minutes drive, Clifton Beach & the boulevard of camps bay very close by. The hotel is very clean, you'll see everything cleaned several times a day. The staff is very well trained, ready for you at any time... More

Me and my husband had a very comfortable stay at the beautiful appartment with ocean view and a swimming pool just outdoors on 1st floor . We stayed here for 4 nights and fell in love with Capetown city. Philip Botha was kind to co-operate with us during enquiries, booking, pre arrival, during arrival. Philip, Riaan and Doudou (hope spelling... More

The Glen Hotel was absolutely perfect - fantastic service from the minute we arrived. Phillip the concierge especially went out of his way to make sure our stay was great - he had great recommendations for restaurants, wineries, tours etc. The Glen is definitely the best boutique hotel that we've ever stayed at. Thanks again, we'll be sure to stay... More

I had very high expectations for my two-week stay at the The Glen. However, I wouldn’t consider it a place that I would return. Others may find it suitable to their needs but it failed to impress me on many levels. Be warned - the hotel is NOT exclusively gay. So if that is what you’re looking for you should... More

This hotel made my trip to Cape Town a perfect one. I felt so well taken care of every time I returned "home" during my 9 day stay. The hotel is a beautiful environment in a lovely neighborhood. I was glad not to be staying at the waterfront or camps bay which are very busy and crowded. This neighborhood had... More

Plus points:- Pool/Restaurant area very good, room very well appointed. Location is good too, equi-distance between V&A and Camps Bay etc. Staff were excellent. Minus points:- Sauna/steam room/indoor jacuzzi never seemed to be switched on or at the right temperature over a 3 day period. Pool was pretty cold (not sure if heated or not?), not somewhere you'd hang out... More

This was our first stop during our trip in South Africa, and we wish we would've been able to stay more than just one night. The rooms are very nice decorated, with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. A really nice pool area and the breakfast was excellent, as well as the service from everyone in the staff....
