Friendly and competent staff, great atmosphere, a hearty breakfast, good service, clean rooms (and they always did it with the perfect timing, I never had to wait) - I will be back! It was fun to stay a full day at the pool, to make new friends or to invite guest for a drink. The old building - a stylish... More

The concept of the new extended hotel is good. The new rooms are beautifully designed, spotless and well equipped. The pool area is lovely and stylish but over run at the weekends by day guests. It's chaotic. The food and bars are great. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly. A few have too much attitude. What kills this... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to write a review of The Glen. We greatly appreciate any feedback, and especially so with our new wing. As its a completely new wing for us, we asked all the first time occupants of each room to inform us of any problems and any other potential problem areas. We have not... More

We stayed at the Glen Boutique Hotel for 8 nights because it is a gay hotel and we always wanted to try it. The common areas of the property are charming and centered around the chic pool areas. The hotel recently completed construction of some new guest room buildings, greatly increasing the hotel's capacity and adding to the resort feel... More

We recently stayed at the Glen for 7 nights having read raving reviews we opted to stay here. How right they were. We had an amazing stay, we could not fault anything, the rooms, localtion, staff, food, atmosphere were just simply outstanding. We will certainly be returning and I hope in the not to distant future. Thanks all at the Glen More

The staff at the Glen made our extended stay in Cape Town very enjoyable. In town for business, it was so nice to come "home" each night and be greeted by name. The service is outstanding! Breakfast is good and the internet is reliable. Can't wait for the reonvated pool and space to be open. We will be back! More

Nice stay for gay people, we had room 5 and that's quite big. We paid only R 850 a night, very cheap. Breakfast is good, but there might have been more variation in the food. It's not close to Waterkant, taxi is about R 50. Very friendly staff! More

I'm actually staying at the Glen but in one of the Bantry Bay apartments. to escape from the construction area at the Glen Boutique Hotel itself , my friend and I decided to book the supposedly more quiet and well furnished apartments. the cleanliness of the place is average , the swimming pool does not seem too clean , the... Dear guest Thank you for your feedback. The Glen Apartments is a separate establishment to The Glen Boutique Hotel. The Glen apartments are NOT start graded, this page is for the Glen Boutique hotel which is a 4-star establishment. We find your comments misleading as when you were asked if everything was ok in your apartment, you indicated it was... More

Stayed at the Glen in October 2011 and to be honest we left a bit disappointed. To start: The hotel is just building an extension so the whole place was under construction .-( We have heard about it before booking, so decided to call the hotel beforehand to ask if the would affect our stay. Unfortunately the GM turned out... More
