This B&B is in a great, safe location with amazing views over the city and Table Mountain. Our room was spacious and modern and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts, Kris and Ann, were extremely welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay here again if ever I return to Cape Town.

The rooms are neat and nicely decorated, located in the garden areas of Capetown (3km from city centers). Owners are very kind and helpful. Breakfast great. quite a lot of good restaurants in the vicinity. All in all highly recommendable.

My wife and I travelled to Cape Town and it was our first time in SA. De Tafelberg is an unbelievable B&B and we couldn't imagine a better stay in Cape Town. The owners were super friendly and coordinated day trips and restaurant recommendations. Kris made great eggs and the breakfast spread was delightful. The room we stayed in was... More

This guest house is set close to Table Mountain and has amazing views of the cliffs. The front looks out over the city and the early morning view is incredible. The rooms are luxurious, spotlessly clean and spacious with comfortable beds and air-conditioning or heating as required. The breakfast bar had a great variety of cereals, breads and fruit. Eggs... We have now stayed at De Tafelberg on three consecutive visits to Cape Town and will undoubtedly be back. For us, the perfect start to our holiday in South Africa. Situated high up in Oranjezicht, there can be no better view of downtown Cape Town and Table Mountain, which is so close, you'd think you could reach out and touch... More
