We spent a wonderful 3 nights here and wished we had stayed longer. This is an ideal base for Cape Town and you don't need a car. Get a taxi from the airport or bus, and then rely on local buses and the tourist bus. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants, and at the bottom of Table Mountain. Robben... More

My fiancé n I couldn't have been more pleased with our guesthouse find. Our suite was absolutely fantastic..spacious, gorgeously comfortable, contemporary in style but with an African flavour n as for the views from our private verandah..stunning, breathtaking, we could look out at them forever!! The guesthouse generally is lovely, there's a pool to cool off in (sadly not quite... More

We had an amazing stay here. Merryl, the owner, is so accommodating and helpful. We were staying in Cape Town for a week, but decided to book one night here as a special treat for my girlfriends birthday. They decorated the room with flowers and gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate! We had the corner room and it has... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 nights at 51! It was the perfect location, especially for me because I could walk to the beach and into Camps Bay while he was off property working. Meryl and her staff are great - welcoming, friendly and very attentive to detail. They made sure that I was taken care of during... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. There are only 3 rooms, which makes the service and setting more intimate, relaxed and attentive. The location was beautiful, only 5min walk from great restaurants and bars in Camps Bay. The rooms were big and well maintained at all times. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our host Corrie was extremely attentive, friendly... More

Fantastic location and views coupled with excellent friendly service makes this an outstanding boutique hotel. Excellent value for money. The deluxe room has a relaxed feel with stunning views of Camps Bay and the 12 Apostles. Hosted by Corrie who cannot do enought for you, serving a great breakfast, reserving tables, recommending trips and activities and just making you feel... More

This was our 2nd visit to 51 on Camps and hopefully won't be our last!! We stayed for a week in March and had a fabulous time. We stayed in the mountain view room for 2 nights and the ocean view for 6 nights. The mountain view is a big bigger and quieter as it's on the back of the... More

If you want to feel immediately rested and chilled out, what better than 51@Camps Bay, especially after long haul flight from Europe. We couldn’t have kicked off our stay any better. The cosy guesthouse is located on a hillside of this very elegant seaside resort town. 10 mins drive from city center, 30mins from airport; a very convenient place if... More

What a treat we were in store for when we spent 4 nights/5 days at this fabulous guesthouse. From the moment Corrie greeted us to the moment we sadly checked out he was attentive to our needs and the ultimate host, not to mention he makes some really great breakfast treats - muffins, eggs and very good coffee consumed in...
