We stayed here on our Smartour trip. It's not the kind of hotel we normally choose because we prefer small B&B's or inns, but they do a wonderful job w/ the tour groups. Nice location for walking and restaurants, plus the rooms are very nice.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a package tour that I had booked. Overall the hotel is quite nice. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. There is a nice dining area and bar on the lower level over looking the hotel's pool which faces the bay. My only complaints are the lack luster service from the front... More

We stayed for 3 nights. We were fortunate to have a 5th floor room, which was quite nice. The restaurant was perfectly fine for breakfast and dinner. The shuttle to and from the waterfront was reasonably convenient. A good laundry is a short walk away, and the neighborhood restaurants were good.

I stayed here many here ago on my first trip to Cape Town so was glad to hear it was being remodelled when I booked it again this time around. I arrived at the President shortly after 1.30 and my allocated room was not ready so they quickly offered me room 354 on the third floor. However on going to... More

I chose this site because it was advertised as a four star. When I arrived I was given an older apartment that was awful. After insisting on a better room, I was given a refurbished room on the fifth floor. It was a newly refurbished room. From that point on the trip was extremely enjoyable, esp the buffet breakfast. I... More

We only had 3 nights at the President which was not enough. We stopped on our way to Durban and had a very pleasant experience. Our hotel room was on the 6th floor and sea facing. The security was excellent and the hotel rooms could only be reached by opening a security door out side the lift with your door... More

I booked what I thought was the best room, 6th floor, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, as I had my aged mother-in-law with. No breakfast included in the rather expensive price. Also no turn down service, Two coffee cups in a suite that sleeps 4 ? Tea/coffee provisions for two people only in a four sleeper. No mini bar service... More

A great hotel based on the outskirts of Cape Town that offers everything you would expect from a 4* hotel. A warm welcome awaits you on check in. Rooms are very large and offer different options, basic twin/double and suites etc. Pool area is nice with bar service, pool is cold with Children’s section. Good value drinks (Cocktails £5), excellent... More

Good hotel. Good food. Great breakfast buffet. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Lovely pool and garden area. Some rooms have a view of the ocean- request a room with a view. The location is not in V & A area, but a bus or taxi ride away.
