Large clean apartment type room with views towards the sea. 200m from the sea front in a safe area. Comfortable beds and the ability to close the door of the bedroom within the room complex meant a good quiet nights sleep. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment but did eat in the restaurant a couple of times. The food... More

We booked this hotel on a great package deal, and it met our needs, the room was large and clean, the bed is huge, and the views are great (From the pool) book a sea facing room, the mountain view is a little tainted (Not bad though). The bathroom is a little small, and the water take a little while... More

Stayed at the hotel in June and what an awesome experience . This was my fifth stay at the hotel and it never fails to impress. Lovely well furnished rooms. Stayed at the sea facing rooms which have awesome sunsets and sunrise with great views of the Atlantic ocean. The hotel is conveniently positioned to the Waterfront as well as... More

The service is friendly and attentive...this seems to be the norm throughout Cape Town. The room is spacious and comfortable. The problem with the wardrobe door and lack of hair dryer was sorted very quickly during breakfast. Food is superb.

I'd be tempted to give this hotel 5 stars but it would be unfair to the hotels I've given 5 Stars to. This is an objective feeling due to the way we were treated on our first visit here in 2002. All down to the staff who were really lovely. Can't praise them enough.

We stayed here for three nights recently and overall found the hotel to be good value for money. The location is good with the city sightseeing tour buses stopping outside. We had a large room with separate sitting room and kitchenette and couldn't fault it. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to suit most tastes. However there... More

Had to stay here when my local colleagues chose this place based on cost. As they say, if it's cheap, run away. This hotel was opened in 1998 by then president Nelson mandala and I must say time has stood still here Arrived in the late morning and the room was not ready. Asked to shower in the gym since... I wanted a room in Cape Town for 2 adults and 2 children (age 12/14). Because of security reasons in SA I did not want the children in a separate room unless the hotel could guarantee it was next door. I searched high and low for rooms. Every other hotel that also met our other requirements in Cape Town that... More

The stay was a very pleasant one. The hotels position is far enough away from the touristy things but close enough to get to them efficiently. Access to the highways was easy enough. The breakfast was great and staff were very friendly. The room was great . A lot of space and very comfortable.
