Last week I went alone on a tour to Inverdoorn and was surprised about the hospitality and flexibility of the staff. My car has broken down 50 km befor my arrival. But it was not a problem as Danny picked me up and brought me to the reserve. The reserve is unbelievable big and you ll encounter all animals you... More

The first safari guided by Erica in Inverdoorn is something we will not likely forget. What a great experience to see the animals so close by. And the guides all have good knowledge of the animals, their natural habitats and behavior. The rides are beautiful, not in the least because of the wonderful surroundings. The first drive we were so... More

Thank you Inverdoorn for an excellent day. We were picked up at 0630 from our self catering accommodation in Hout Bay. Richard our driver was very couteous and informative about what the day would involve. On arrival we we offered coffee and biscuits and while werwe were waiting for our safari we were taken to see some rhinos in a... More

I really wanted to write this review to describe how great our visit here was. Firstly our luxury lodges were amazing just wish we had stayed longer to truly enjoy how nice they were. The itinerary is so full of things there is hardly any down time. The food was pretty nice but it is not the reason to visit.... More

Our trip and overnight stay in the Ambassador Suite on 26 September, was our second visit to Inverdoorn. The first occasion was on a day trip with African Eagle in September 2012. The Ambassador Suite was amazing, first-class and on our return from the early morning game drive breakfast was waiting for us on the terrace. I also had an... More

What a terrible experience. We should have known that service is going to be a shocker when we were given the option of "fish or couscous" for dinner on arrival. The waiter/service person did not have a clue what couscous was, and upon some coaching we got it out of her that it will be with meat. What meat? Don't... More

I stayed in the Inverdoorn Game Reserve for 1 night in August 2014 with colleagues. It is located about 2,5 hours by car northeast of Cape Town. We were picked up at our hotel and brought back the next day. The drive up to Inverdoorn is very nice as it leads through mountains and valleys and thus there is a... More

We stayed for one night in a luxury chalet. We were impressed with the room, although we didn't get to spend that much time in it! The food provided was delicious and I really enjoyed the evening meal. The two safaris were ok and we were impressed at how much we saw. However, it was obvious that the animals were... More

The room/grounds- we chose the suite room with rooftop access because we thought you had to choose that one to have the cheeta interaction. However, when we got there we learned that anyone can purchase a cheeta interaction. So, we felt we really didn't need to upgrade to the suite. We didn't spend much time in the room, as there... We spent two days at Inverdoorn, thoroughly enjoying two of the game drives across their vast reserve property. We had read in advance that this is a great place for experiencing the animals in a natural setting. Inverdoorn is definitely a reserve--the animals are fed by staff, the property is fenced to protect from poachers, etc. Still, the animals roam... More
