We have been always happy to stay at Manyane Resort due to the close location to the park. A good base to be at the gate at 5:30 am ;-)) The food is good, the breakfast-man the most friendly cook. Unfortunatly the NOISE POLLUTION at night is NOT ACCEPTABLE. LOUD MUSIC from outside the resort is too loud to revisit... More

We stayed for two nights in the electric safari tents. Tents are clean and tidy, with full sized fridge, kettle and tea coffee and two single beds with linen and your own braai out the front. The tents are reasonably close to amenities and are also quite pleasant even after nearly 40degree days. The resort is very pleasant with pool... More

we came as a multi generational family group. The 2 bedroom lodge we rented on a B&B basis was everything we needed it to be. There were a few teething problems but all sorted by management. I think that perhaps an upgrade would be air con installation but for the price it was what was expected. I would visit again... More

We stayed here in a group of 14 in early February. I really can't understand some of the negative reviews on here. I've been to this resort before, about 15 years ago, and nothing has changed. That is not a bad thing though. It is a three star budget accommodation resort and doesn't claim to be anything else. We stayed... More

We planned a quite, comfortable, family reunion weekend at Manyane (13-14 February 2015). However our stay was neither comfortable nor quite. We arrived on Friday afternoon ±14h00 having traveled from across the country and abroad and were booked into chalets #31 and #32. The chalets were clean but that was their only positive attribute. Both chalets were rundown that did... More

The tents are basic and give you a sense of being on safari. Very pleasant! Ablution facilities are communal and OK. Take some Savlon with you to the shower just to disinfect the shower floor. Always a good practice. Night falls, and at about 21h00 just when you thought all us calm and pleasant, a local disco/club starts thumping away... More

Originally we wanted to stay in one of the chalet but since the size of our group got bigger, we decided to stay in the Safari tents. The tents had quite comfy beds, big fridge, towels, kettle etc. In my opinion they were relatively well equipped for a tent. However the common shower areas were a bit run down. The... More

Being the first time I stayed in one of the Safari tents, the accommodations were surprisingly comfortable. It was clean, 2 beds, towels, kettle, fan, fridge and a small cupboard to pack some stuff. There was even a small bar of soap! So I get to the ablutions. First impressions were okay. Then I realized how dark it is. The... More

On a whim we booked a tent over the festive season for a quick trip to Pilanesberg. I've stayed in the chalets before and used to camp there regularly as an honorary officer in the 80s and 90s, but I'd never stayed in the safari tents. We had tent 17, which initially seems ideal because it is far forward towards... More
