I stayed in a chalet in the Manyane Resort : 2 single beds, tv, separate own bathroom with shower, boiler and fridge. Comfortable enough for anyone who is not too comfortable with camping in the bush ! The Resort even has a swimming pool and good restaurant with buffet. I booked my trip via Eco Africa Travel - Elsabe was... More

Pilanesberg game reserve is excellent - a lot of game, easily accessible from Pretoria. You don't need a 4X4, a sedan will do.The location of the accomodation at Manyane is perfect. The food is average, sometimes below average. We booked DBB. the buffet diner meal was a little bit disappointing, this was not kudu meat. we ate kudu before, this... More

Beautiful camp site with electricity. Ablution blocks clean but in need of maintenance. Missing and leaking taps. Shower drains blocked and the hot water supply only a trickle. Poor lighting. The restaurant did not have eggs for our breakfast. The toasted cheese sandwich was good, the fries stale. On the self drive through the park we saw lots of game... More

We went for one night, and camped, as part of a company trip for staff families. Relatively easy to find, directions provided were good, but some signs missing on the very last stretch, which could mean people may miss turn off. It is a fantastic shady camping and chalet area, which is good protection from the hot summer days. Each... More

We were a group of 8: my wife and I, two kids, one infant and three grand parents. We got two four bed chalets side by side and loved it. My kids did not always make the morning drives but would then love a long walk through the trails in the back which are safe from big animals but full... More

We rented a 4 bed chalet at Manyane resort in mid-January. Most of the resort was empty because the South African holidays had just finished, but the rate was still around 150 euro. I was in n.35, with a large lounge, one bedroom and an upstairs loft bedroom. The place is nice, nothing fancy but clean and well equipped. We... More

Booked a double chalet room, figuring it is a double bed, we got 2 single beds. Website wasn't working. Chalet was run down and had terrible lighting, could barely see anything. One of the lights in the room had no off switch, so we would have to turn off the mains power before we went to sleep. Waiters were friendly... More
