We stayed two night at this beautiful and well maintained hotel. Rooms are large with a nice balcony overlooking the beautiful hotel gardens. Breakfast was very good and complete although the service is low... The food is good. They need to improve the cleaning of the bathroom that was full of mold spots.... More

We recently stayed at Jatinga, and founfd the place to be an absolute gem! The rooms were spacious, clean, well fitted out. The food was very well presented and delicious. The manager, Mike, went out of his way to make this a special stay for us. The only thing is that the hotel is rather quiet, both good and bad.... More

The wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in Room 7 at Jatinga and I would recommend it for a secluded, very quiet and romantic get away. The rooms are well appointed, large and airy with a lovely verandah overlooking the enormous established and well maintained garden. TV is adequate (but who wants to watch TV in such a great... More

We stayed at Jatinga for one night as it was closer to the airport for the next morning. We had dinner at Jatinga which was very romantic as it was just us and one other table of one. The wine cellar was really nice. The dinner was okay but the service was excellent. The breakfast however was really really good!... More

We arrived late afternoon on the southern approach track which can only be described as needing much attention. However, the welcome, accommodation, grounds, food and the attention we received exceeded our expectations. We were just sorry that we were staying only one night. Our luxurious semi detached bungalow (huge bedroom and enormous ensuite) was located in the impressive and peaceful... More

We spent four nights at Jantinga at the end of our holiday in South Africa. We wanted somewhere to chill out after a fairly hectic holiday. This place really hit the mark. The hotel is quiet, a little run down but in a nice sort of way. Everything about the place was comfortable and service from all the staff was... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night in late September, and had a very satisfactory stay. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and beautifully-decorated, with an extraordinary bathroom with a huge stone bath and separate shower. We used the hotel as a stopover, so we didn't see much of the gardens, although they looked lovely. Breakfast... More

In it's literature, this hotel styles itself as a five star, but TripAdvisor's rating of three star is far more accurate. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the bathrooms large and airy and the gardens old and extensive so physically the hotel rates very highly. Unfortunately the property is badly managed and maintained so it fails to impress. The... More

Stupendously nice, very spacious room no 10, decorated in "Provencal' style. All rooms are decorated differently. Huge stone bath and bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked. TV had varous satellite channels which should appease most guests. Grounds are well maintained and the amble to the River is really pretty. Seems to be a birdwatchers paradise. The lodge and verandah... More

We got this hotel from the Greenwood Guide. However, we found out when we arrived that it had been bought out by a hotel chain. I think it has lost some of its individuality as a result, but it is still a nice place to stay. The hotel has added some new rooms which are large and very comfortable, but... More
