Great African decor and feel, great views across the lake, excellent pool and outdoor bar area. Good size rooms with comfortable beds, poor lighting in the bedrooms and especially the bathrooms. Friendly reception, some of the younger staff need to smile!! Overall good service and would stay here again.

The staff at this hotel is some of the least trained staff I have seen in ages. Rude. Clueless. Untrained. Unprofessional. The hotel would better change business and become stage set for horror movies in the genre of The Shinning. The reception area is totally devoid of light. You actually have to wait to readjust your eyes to darkness in... More

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Pine Lake Inn from 23 – 27 September 2015. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty by all the friendly staff members. We stayed in one of the two suites (suite 401). Our suite was very large with an open plan lounge, dining room, king size... More

Booked as part of a Kuoni trip as it was reasonably close (45 mins) to Kruger National Park, Whilst this hotel whilst looked impressive externally & in the public rooms the bedrooms & service was a real disappointment. The rooms whilst spacious but the decor was tired, they had very noisy air-con which markedly chilled one bed whilst leaving the... More

Hotel with great potential and beautiful surroundigns. Unfortunaely there were few buts: 1. smelly towels and bed sheets - like they were not washed properly and smileless service. It was really a pity for us. Because the place was very nice.

Stayed for two nights at this hotel (twin room) as part of a round trip in South-Africa. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant offers buffet dinners, which are varied but still, it's buffet food. Wouldn't stay again for this reason. As we didn't have our own transportation (part of a tour-group by bus) we were unable to eat... More

My husband, my self and Two close friends stayed here on route to Hazyview for 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast was good , but I believe the lake on the property was the star of the show .There were pedalos for hire along with kayaks with which to explore the lake. The manager was... We arrived in Pine Lake Inn after a night flight and 400 km to drive, so we were very tired. After a while they told us that the restaurant was not open this evening, but after complaining they opened the restaurant, After this experience we had a wonderful time there. The staff was very helpfull, especially when we had a... More

Badly equipped rooms. No bottled water available. Shocking service. Bar (when open) ridiculously over priced. This badly managed Inn caters ONLY for foreign trade & not the locals. Zero rating for service!!!

We had a big room at the end of the corridor, facing the lake. It was very nice. We found the buffet a bit expensive and decided to order some food from the room service, it was excellent! The breakfast was very good. No qualified staff at the bar but we were able to use skype there. It worked pretty... More
