We stayed for three nights and were a little disappointed with our room having read all great reviews. The room(s) we had were on the bottom floor, spacy enough but with a mouldy feeling and smell. Me and my daughter are very sensitive for that unfortunately. The pool didn't feel fresh so we took only a quick dip once. However,... More

Our room (Type B) was very nice with a comfortable bed and bathroom. The breakfast terrace had a nice view into the garden. Breakfast was very good and the hosts did give us great informations on what to do -especially their recommendation on the 16-seat lagoon tour was valuable. We enjoyed this very much. Going to Cape Vidal was also... More

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here very much in December for 2 nights. The dutch couple who run the place (who's names I have since forgotten) were lovely and accommodating with information about the St Lucia area and Estuary, I thoroughly enjoyed their down to earth and friendly nature. I would say the room was simple but very... More

We stayed for three nights and had a very nice room. The breakfast was also great and the hotel manager helped us to book excursions and find good restaurants. We had a great time there and will come back.

Warm and friendly atmosphere. Excellent comfortable rooms. Public areas were beautifully furnished. The breakfast was also just fitted the bill. Only problem was the rear entrance was too steep and grounded the bottom of the car.

We (family of four with two kids - aged 13 and 16 years) stayed here for four nights in August. The guest house is very nice, with pleasant rooms overlooking the back garden. The Dutch hosts are welcoming and know how to run an efficient guest house. They were also extremely kind when our son accidentally broke a lamp in... More

We stayed for 4 nights in October, changing this from 3 nights at the last minute, and they took this in their stride although they were nearly full up. They are very friendly, and helped us with advice on things to do in the area, including organising trips with no extra charge (whale watching and safari). Lovely room and excellent... More

We stayed at Elephant Coast Guest House for 4 nights in October, and enjoyed it very much. They changed our booking to an extra night at the last minute, with no fuss although they were nearly full. The food is good, they are very friendly, and helped us organise trips. You can watch wildlife from their verandah. The room was... More

As a family of 4 person we had one big suite, enough space to relax. The manager was very friedly and helpful in every matter you ask her, also the staff. Our highlight was a big hippo in the garden and a small monkey in our room. Danke.

Albert and Cisca truly understand tourism and hospitality: they make you feel at home, anticipate on your needs and take a lot of hassle off your hands when it comes to organising things and booking activities... Do trust their advice on places to eat and best things to do in the area... The place is fantastic and great value for... More
