Firstly the resort is a bit oddly located but once you inside the area, it is all good. The service at the restaurant and bar is a bit slow (looked like only 1 person allocated) Service at reception, always friendly..wifi at reception, easily located near Kruger park. Lovely river running through resort

This was a wonderful, relaxing, resort with many facilities and close to Kruger National Park, and all the amenities in Hazyview. The Service of the staff was great. The Resort is well maintained, clean, upmarket. the restaurant dinner service is poor, although the prices are reasonable.

We stayed in one of the chalets on the banks of the Sand river, as opposed to the Sabie river (If you haven't checked out a map yet; the resort is between the two rivers, just up stream from where they join into the Sabie river, which then flows past Kruger Park Lodge). The view was relaxing, and the bird... More

On the first night, we tried the restaurant as it was late to go out of the resort and we were tired and hungry. Big mistake, it took over 45 minutes to get our burgers and the restaurant was not busy. Great burgers but eat before you go to the restaurant. The units were spacious and well fitted. this was... We stayed at a 3 bed unit during July 2014. The accomodation is spacious and clean. Well -fitted kitchen and nice living area. The two couches in the TV room are really comfortable and you could actually accommodate eight adults taking these into account. Service was great and responsive. If you can ask for a unit close to the river... More

Stayed in a chalet for 3 nights. The unit we stayed in was a two bed room unit that can sleep up to six visitors. The chalets are in the process of being upgraded. There is a small kitchen with all utensils and an outside braai area which we used at night. As previous reviews said that the reception staff... More

Luckily we only had one night at Sanbonani Resort. We had two rooms side by side which had not been renovated since the 80's, desperate for a face lift. Having said that rooms were spacious and one of our rooms had a small kitchenette and living area. We were not told about facilities and there was no information in our... More

I have now been to Sanbonani twice and I can say that is growing from strength to strength. The chalets are well equipped and spacious. The resort itself has a beautiful pool which is great after a day in the Kruger park. It is close to Phabeni gate so trips into the Kruger are done with relative ease.also it's close... More

The 3th time we stayed in Sanbonani. About 7 km from the Phabeni gate at Kruger National Park. Very nice accommodation, 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Spacious and clean. Will not stay anywhere else. Family loves it as it is secure and lots to do.

Take your time to wander round this beautiful resort. The Sabi river runs alongside the resort and Hippo's are resident in this part of the river along with crocodiles, Vervet monkeys fly through the trees and the accommodation is fantastic. The swimming pool has a bar attached to it so you can enjoy a nice cold beer while sitting in... More
