In July we visited Rissington Inn as two couples and have nothing but praise for the welcome, accommodation and food. The location and rooms are beautiful. Thank you to Chris and all his team. We would go again and stay longer.

We stayed here in July for 4 nights prior to going on safari in Kruger. We used it as a base for the various things to see and do in the area and drive the panorama route. The Rissington has got everything just right. The rooms are lovely, with everything you need and a lovely view, also very quiet for... More

Beautiful gardens and a tranquil setting, very reasonably priced food and drink, surprisingly close to the centre of hazyview, although we had no idea until we came to leave, as it is so quiet. They offer a personalised service with luxury rooms and private terraces looking out over the surrounding landscape.

We stayed here for one night before heading into the Kruger and I wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is simply gorgeous, the people extremely friendly and the food was spectacular. They even provided a birthday cake for one of our party. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back if I got the chance.

This hotel was our base for 3 nights during a tour. The place is very friendly and very well kept. The rooms are large and very well appointed. The restaurant and bar are excellent. The food was exceptional with a large range of large and small portion dishes. I recommend the crocodile curry but beware the chilli condiments :-). Overall... More

We stayed here after getting married in Garonga Safari Camp. We had the Hilltop suites and they were wonderful. All the staff a charming and so helpful nothing is to much trouble. Our travel agents had not told us we would have to book activities, but this was not a problem the staff had it arranged within half and hour.... More

Rissington Inn was suggested by our travel agent as part of a 9 day itinerary in South Africa, and we stayed 3 nights but wished it was longer. This part of the world has so much to offer if you love the outdoors and there was much more we wanted to see. The inn has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with... More

When you drive towards the Inn from the main road you do not expect to get a nice oasis like it is. With lodges scrambled around the main building the dusty and bustling Hazyview village centre seems far away. The Rissington offers a great spacious room and sufficient bathroom. It may need a lick of paint and a renewall of... More

A small correction. The Phabeni Gate of the Kruger National Park is only 10 minutes from Rissington, not 30. Graskop and God's Window are 20 minutes away. Thanks Chris Harvie More

Hazyview is a very vibrant and busy little town, that is used by tourists as a base to explore Kruger National Park and the surrounding terrain. There isn't much else to see or do here. My husband and I stayed at The Rissington Inn (Hazyview) during July 2014, to celebrate my forthcoming 50th birthday. We were there for 2 nights,... More

We dropped in at the Rissington Inn late at night with no reservation. We could not get in touch with them through phone (it appeared that the phone lines had been stolen) and took the risk. We had a long, exhausting day and the staff was very friendly. They upgraded us to a larger room (Euphoria). Very nice room. We... More
