I stayed here for 4 nights with my two teenage boys in a 2 bed family house. The houses were beautifully presented with stunning views. They were very cool which, in the summer must be great.we were self catering and the house had everything you could possibly need. The hosts were Rob and Dawne and they were very hospitable. There... Dear Sandra, Thanks for the excellent rating. It was great meeting you and your two fine boys . The dogs... Hmmm,.. We are walking a bit of a tight rope at the moment. . We would like to have three or, at a push, four. But , when the only alternative is euthanasia, I'm afraid we have always softened... To... More

Had 4 wonderful nights At Ashbourne. Rob and Dawn were extremely welcoming and informative of the various activities in the area. Rob's recommendation for the Kruger National Park was spot on. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated. Good breakfasts on the balcony and on our first morning as it was a little chilly, in the dining... More

Wish we could have stayed longer - we were only with Rob and Dawne (and the dogs) for a couple of nights, in the gorgeous 'Stone Cottage'. Perfect. Sunsets from the verandah just perfect and the quality of the interiors very high - beds were amazing. Very highly recommended.

Ashbourne was all we'd read about on Tripadvisor and more! About 4km out of Hazyview up a dirt road, easily enough to find with instructions provided by Rob and Dawne. Rob and Dawne were the best hosts and our room more like a cottage (we had been given a choice of 3 rooms - all lovely) Rob offered us welcome... More

We had our own pool and a complete kitchen- the only thing we missed was having soup bowls or plates, since we went on winter. You get lots of privacy, plus a beautiful decor, very very comfortable, big bed and nice lining. The place is lovely, with great view. The owners are also very pleasant people, have lots of big... Loved Ashbourne's Family Stone cottage. Suberb bedlinen, comfortable beds and overall very stylish accommodation. The hosts, Rob and Dawne are very welcoming and look after your every need. This is the perfect place to stay when you are in this region. We stayed here with our two children 19 and 22 year's old, who enjoyed a great run in the... More

Ashbourne Country Escape in Hazyview is a tranquil refuge perfectly located for exploring South Africa’s Kruger Park and The Panorama Route. The hosts, Rob and Dawne, have created an inviting retreat for their guests that is unlike anything we have ever experienced. If you are planning a trip to the area and aren’t sure where to stay, look no further.... More

For what you receive at this wonderful place, the rates charged are a bargain. Rob the host is the most genial and welcoming reservoir of really helpful information about the area and what to do. We stayed in the self catering unit for 2 couples and it was ideal with great views and rooms that were wonderfully designed and decorated.... More

We stayed two wonderful nights at Ashbourne while exploring the Panorama route and while a little hard to find it is well worth it for the peace and privacy. Try to get the self catering cottage, it's got a massive bed, gorgeous decor and even your own private pool. Definitely recommended to anyone planning a visit to hazyview.
