Lovely staff. Very helpful and always cheery. Food is excellent. Located over looking the Sabi river and the Kroner. If lucky, you will see wildlife from the veranda. We saw a bull elephant while having a cocktail Andrew & June

What a beautiful lodge!!!!!!!! my boyfriend and I had the most amazing time here :) it was so peaceful and stunning and it made us relax so beautifully. The staff were out of this world, definitely a 10 out of 10 for the service and friendliness :) We ate dinner on the beautiful deck lit up by a huge bonfire... More

We are a family of four (children 11 and13) and stsyed here for 3 nights. We had a great time. We were in one room ( this wasn't clear when booking) but we were quite comfortable, we were so tired after safari we all slept well! The food was good, there was a choice of 3 starters, 2 main and... More

Isn't it strange, you can read a review here and it makes you wary re someone. Well we spent three nights here around the Skukuza Half and we found *all* of the staff - most notably Stuart the Manager to be superb. There was a mix up in the booking and Stuart had a fantastic demeanour and approach to resolving... More

What a fantastic experience! We recently stayed at Sabie River Bush Lodge with a bunch of our friends and family. During this time we also booked out the entire lodge for one day to celebrate our wedding! Organizing a wedding in South Africa from the United States can be particularly challenging, however, Sabie River Bush Lodge was incredibly accommodating and... More

Stayed for five days, went on four Kruger Park Safaris. Accomodation was comfortable, clean and affordable. Meals were varied each day and were good, quite large by my standards. We stayed in the safari tents overlooking the Sabi River which is in Kruger National Park. Perhaps a highlight was after returning from a safari we were sitting on the deck... More

The staff themselves were fantastic . I think it was welsy who checked us in and looked after our needs at reception Lazarus around the lodge and life on our drives. Your service and hospitality were outstanding. Life was the best driver - he made sure we saw everything there was to see and we saw the big 5. The... More

The lodge has a nice deck overlooking Sabie river. You can sit there, enjoy your cocktail and look at the river and listen to the sounds of nature. However, it is SO NOISY. There is construction going on the whole afternoon, except Sunday, and the worse....there is a bar nearby that plays LOUD music till 2 in the morning. We... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 14 during our Kruger Safari. Accommodation in a beautiful room with huge thatch roof. Had satellite tv and Wifi. The food and the service and friendliness of all the staff was first class. There were 2 choices for main course every night and everything we had was very tasty. There is even... More

I stayed her only one night after spending 4 nights at lodges within Kruger Park. What a contrast to the rip off prices and poor food on offer at the various camps in the park I arrived just before dark and left the next morning at 10am so I couldnt enjoy the outside relaxation area. The.lodge is right on the... More
