We arrived here by transfer to then go to Kruger Park the following day. We had a wonderful time in this extremely relaxed setting and watching animals come to the river which was just where we had dinner. It was surreal to see these animal on the boundaries on where we were sleeping (cordoned by electric fence so don't worry)... More

I stayed at sabie lodge with my husband in May 2015 for 3 nights. We had an amazing time at the lodge and on safari with William. The staff were so very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The chef went out of his way to cater to my needs (vegetarian and gluten free), the veg curry was delicious! We... More

We stayed there only for 1 night on our way to Kruger Park, but it was worthwhile. It is situated along Sabie river, and we stayed in cabin directly by the river, with our own terrace, where we watched the river flow by. Rooms were very comfortable and we had a great night sleep.

First thing that you like about the place is the amazing viewing deck along the pool. The food is sumptuous, and already included in the tariff. But the best part of the south africa trip by far, is the safari. Mesmerising drives day and night into the jungle. Lions, cheetahs, leopards and what not. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed in a 'tent' at Sabie River, it was very luxurious with a clean and comfortable king sized bed and electricity. We overlooked the river and enjoyed amazing views, however there were a lot of Mosquitos. They were largely kept away from the accommodation being attracted to powerful lights down by the river, but I would recommend deet !... More

I'm a safari guide so I get to experience a variety of lodges. I took 15 guests (2 groups) to this lodge in March 2015. I've since booked two more groups for July 2015 and Sept 2015. One of those groups includes my own family so that is an indication of how satisfied I am with the overall service. The... More

We stayed at this facility in early March as part of our tour. Two nights was all it took to be taken advantage of with a brazen act of thievery from our lodges internal safe that was supposedly locked! We had spent a day on the road exploring the sites of the local area only to return to our lodge... More

Good value for money, near to the Kruger Gate entrance to Kru Park, the Sabie River Bush Lodge is a tidy little rest area with interesting rondoval rooms, a really cute common dining area on a second-floor al fresco wooden structure, and relaxing views into Kruger Park from the veranda, dining areas, pool, and grounds. The staff are enthusiastic, attentive,... More

We stayed one night in the Luxury River Frontage bush tent. The accommodation was perfect; it is a luxury tent, with bathroom attached. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was plentiful with lots of variety and the location is superb. Within 20 mins we spotted an elephant across the river. The lodge is the perfect size and layout... More
