A comfortable stay overall with the hosts packing a complete and tasty picnic basket as we went to Kruger. Beautiful views from all rooms. There are friendly dogs on the property for protection although these could appear worrying for those scared of dogs.

We stayed for two nights at Abangane Guest Lodge and we really liked it a lot. The place is most beautiful, awesome view and very quiet. Klaus and Ridwaan are so kind and hospitable, we felt most welcome here. The Lodge comes with a wonderful atmosphere, the furnishing and decorations are done with a loving hand. Breakfast was absolutely amazing... More

We decided to stop by Hazyview en route to Marloth Park, mostly because I wanted to do a panoramic self drive. This lodge felt like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle but close to a lot of restaurants and shops. It was also conveniently located for the panorama tour and the Malelane gate to Kruger (about 30... More

We arrived here after a nice day at the Krugerpark! The nice lodge is not far away from the Phabeni gate. The owner and the staff are really friendly, they serve a lovely breakfast, the room was really good and the view is amazing!! If we knew it was so nice, we would have plan to stay longer! Tip: it... Many thanks to Abangane for the amazing weekend ! We were there for 4 days and were quite depressed to leave ! Lovely lodge with great views. Nothing like waking up early and sitting with a cup of coffee admiring the view from the veranda. We stayed in room 1 with the biggest bathroom ever ! Beautiful big bath with... More

Great location, quirky place. Was hoping to see zebras, impalas & giraffe from the garden, but none around. Good breakfasts & welcome fruit basket in room. Honesty bar. Take your own adaptor is you want to shave.

I've stayed in Abangane Lodge before and my memories brought me back again to a wonderful place with welcoming people and a lodge of superior standards. Hazyview with its restaurants and amenities is a five minutes drive down the road. Kruger is roughly a 20 minutes drive. The lodge is well off the main road and there is nothing that... More

This place is one of the best value-for-money places that I've stayed at in South Africa. The location is great - not too far from major attractions, but stashed away enough to provide a tranquil space. The hosts are amazing - attentive, but not in your space. Everything about the place from the decoration to the early morning breakfast screams... More
