This is a peaceful lodge located in a magnificent location, perched on the hillside. The infinity pool overlooking the plains and hills receding into the distance was just beautiful. We had a relaxing time here and enjoyed our game drives with a knowledgeable ranger, spotting plenty of game although we didn't quite find the Leopard - we tracked it for... More

Overall, we were very happy with our Bongani experience. After a very rough and bouncy ride in a 9 passenger open safari Toyota truck, we found an attractive thatched-roof lodge and cabins on a high cliff or ledge above a valley near Kruger park. A small gift shop and restaurant make up most of the main lodge, and the lodges... More

We were on a Globus Tour and spent three nights here, what a pleasure it was. We saw baboons, elephants and other game wandering in the campsite at various times during our stay. On safari we saw four of the big five during our drives and we did see a lion in a protected area, but not in the wild.... More

A friend had recommended this place to us when travelling last year, we were not dissapointed. Set on hillside its a tranquil beautfiul place, although the ride up is an adventure in itself. The game reserve is the reason you are here and we loved it, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Lions, Giraffes you name it we saw it. Would love to... More

This lodge is seyt on a hillside. The ride from the lower road is quite an adventure. It takes about a half hour to reach the lodge via a bumpy, hilly and dusty road. The best part about the trip up to the lodge is that you are already in the preserve and there are animals to see during the... More

We were in SA visiting Family & had the opportunity of experiencing this truly magical Lodge. It's tranquil setting, complemented by attentive staff for whom nothing is too much trouble & varied high quality food makes this Lodge a must go to. Plenty of beautiful animals to see in the game reserve & cheeky monkeys trying every trick to steal... More

The views are exceptional, it takes a hard working game vehicle around 45 minutes to get up to the lodge, however the journey is wonderfull and game viewing spectacular. The staff are extreemly helpfull and attentive. Thank you to all involved.

This place is exceptional. The drive up takes around 45 minutes and most is in low ratio. The first sight of the lodge is a real experience. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. On the game drive side the rangers and trackers are knowledgeable and do their utmost to find you animals. We had mostly... More

we stayed there two nights last May, as part of a 25 person group; there is a rough 7 kms access road to get there, but it is worth the effort! we had a marvelous stay, participated in two safaris, with excellent guides, saw a lot of wild animals; we had excellent meals during our stay; our room was large,... Accommodation- excellent, Hot water for shower - should be improved (!), Restaurant - Good, Game Drive -excellent. Crew (Eron and Simon) - Well qualified and Charming!!, Tips: Lupizi gate should be opened for access for arrival and departure of guests!! The Matzulu gate forced using N4 (Stop n Go) which delayed traffic for hours! Simply an unnecessary torture for Bongani... More
