Stay at this hotel when away on business. Very friendly staff rooms in excellent condition clean and cosy. No bath has a shower. Breakfast good. on the outskirts of the town but very easily accessible. the hotel is situated on the same grounds as the Meropa Entertainment world (Casino) Only drawback is that the hotel does not do dinner and... This hotel in Polokwane can hold its own among accommodation venues in this city. Although situated at the Casino, it still offers peace and tranquility and it is very quiet and safe here. My only not-so-good experience is the ridged and uncompromising way of operations by the restaurant staff. Nobody informed me about the breakfast time that expires at 09:30.... More

Hotel was recently revamped and it is quite an improvement on the 'old' hotel. Hotel is situated within the casino complex and you only have to walk about 200 meters or so to the casino so the hotel remains still quiet. Cellphone reception is usually very poor though and you could struggle to find connectivity to Vodacom. Dinner can only... More

The check in was seamless and my non smoking room was extremely clean and smelt fresh. All the fittings seemed quite new and everything worked as it was supposed to. The service was as I expected for the type of hotel, so was therefore average. The niggles for me were that the room was expensive - R952 which is a... More

Staying only one night in a Hotel next to a busy highway is always dicey, but the Town Lodge in Polokwane was a big surprise. It is VERY neat and clean, all the staff I met was friendly and helpful. The room was small but nice for one person for one night. Breakfast was excellent and tasty. The coffee, yummy.... More

There aren't many accommodation options in Polokwane, especially if you need to be close to the Meropa Conference venue at the Entertainment World. The Town Lodge is is part of the complex so it is very convenient. You can expect very basic accommodation that is desperately in need of an update. The rooms and bathrooms are very small but clean... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this Town Lodge during a two night business visit there. This Town Lodge is right next to the Meropa Casino at Polokwane, and within short walking distance to the casino complex. Upon our arrival at reception we were greeted by Rebecca and welcomed to the lodge in a friendly way. The check-in... More

If you are just looking for a clean bed for the night you may consider. If you are looking for more, I am sure you can do better at one of the B&B's in Polokwane. Terrible mixup when I booked in and got given an access card for an occupied room - red faces all around when I walked into... More

I stayed for one night with two friends as we travelled north on a birding trip. We missed breakfast due to an eaerly start and eat in the casino (slow service). Small room with not much space but great bathroom.
