It is such a pleasure to come to a place in the bush were everything works so well and the standards are so high. We had 1 night at Leeuwenhof and regret not booking for 2 when I originally enquired...it is a most pleasant place with such a serene feel to it. On arrival we were warmly greeted by our... More

Went back to Leeuwenhof this past weekend. My first visit was in 2012 were we spend a night and had a massages, enjoyed the picnic by the river as well as their 5 course dinner. Not much has changed and I am grateful for that, even in winter the gardens were beautiful and inviting, the weather was just superb. Food... More

We only spent one night. We had room no 6 with a fireplace. The room was comfortable and beautifully furnished. We found the spa facilities disappointing and the indoor pool was cold. Marelize tended to all the guests and we had to look for her when we wanted bar service. The reason why I am giving Leeuwenhof a high rating... More

We were there over the cold long weekend in June. Got there late in the afternoon on Saturday. We were shown to our room by the manageress. We booked the suite with a fire place and private jacuzzi. She said that the ladies will make the bed and start up the gas fire place in the evening. That evening after... More

We chose a Daddy's Dal special at Leeuwenhof for a break away to celebrate our 30'th wedding anniversary. This was such a good choice - we wanted a beautiful, tranquil, romantic getaway and this is exactly what we got!! We bought 2 vouchers which gave us a 2 night stay which included DBB as well as 2 bottles of champers... More

Ideal for couples' special occasions. I made the booking from the Leeuwenhof website where Special Packages can be selected, with the assistance of TripAdvisor the good ratings could be confirmed. The package for DBB & full body massage was an excellent choice. Other beauty treatments are also offered by qualified staff. The spa is available for use by guests and... More

We have lost count, but in 15 years we must have visited Leeuwenhof at least 12 times. For me and my entire family it is paradise on earth. We try to stay in one of their two luxurious tents for ultimate privacy. The hospitality by Helena and her able staff is great and so is the dinner in the diningroom... More

I call these sweats because it is like a nice chocolate box with all the flavor combinations you eat you eat at Christmas. You can pick and choose from the best 4-course dinner we have ever experienced, to delightful lunches and breakfast and exceptional spa treatment. And if you love nature and calmness and you need a good rest and... More

Our 4th visit to Leeuwenhof was as great as the previous ones. This has become our favorite spot for wedding anniversaries. We loved our stay in the suites. The jacuzzi overlooking the mountains and game roaming the fields in front of you is simply amazing. The food is of a very high standard. The staff is very friendly and helpful.... More
