The Xanadu complex of two large, three story buildings has nicely furnished and clean one and two bedroom condos for a reasonable price. The manager, Carolyn, let us look at two units. We got a one bedroom with full kitchen for $425 a week during Christmas week. This is off-season at Lake Havasu as people think it is cold there if it gets below 70 degrees. Being from Alaska we thought the mid-sixties were fine and it was nice to not have the town crowded.

We swam in the 82 degree pool everyday as it is long enough to do laps. The hot tub was 105 and very clean. There are also gas grills and lounging chairs in the courtyard around the pool. (If you want to seriously swim laps check out the Aquatic Center just half a mile south on State 95- its a nice pool with a wave machine for the kids.)

It is about a 10 minute walk to a Safeway and other stores so we could easily supply ourselves. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a restaurant and bar... more
