Being blessed by living close to the KNP we have been to the Kruger on numerous occasions. This was however a first stay over at Olifants Camp. We arrived a little early and our room was predictably not ready yet. The cleaning lady with the charming name of 'Witness' approached us with huge smile and warm welcome and requested 10... More

I stayed in #93 with a lovely view of the river. Clean, comfortable, very plain & very basic. AC, 2 twin beds, lots of screened windows, dutch door to outside, kitchen on the outside porch & a braai. We ate dinner at the on-site Mugg & Bean which had very good food served in a beautiful outdoor setting (but s-l-o-w... More

We enjoyed our stay at Olifants immensely. It is well run and offers far more privacy than the other bigger camps. Due to its position, set deep in the middle of the park, it does not have many day visitors. GENERAL: The camp is well run and boasts a beautiful river side location. It is set high on a rocky... Perimeter rondavel with view of the river. Beautiful! Accommodation basic, but clean. Some care has been taken to spruce the camps up in the past 18 months. Mugg & Bean a vast improvement on the old tired restaurants! Booked a year in advance - well worth the wait! Will definitely return

We paid extra to stay in one of the bungalows overlooking the Olifants River and it was well worth it. The views were amazing and you can hear hippos and other animals in the water. The bungalows/rondavels are fairly basic but more than adequate, with outdoor kitchen/braai areas. Make sure to lock up your food so the monkeys don’t steal... More

We stayed here for only one night on our 5 days self driven trip through Kruger National Park. We stayed in a chalet, equipped only with a fridge and a braai but no kitchenette. There are small animals in the camps's gardens that really make you smile seeing them and beautiful birds visiting the patios of the chalets. The view... More

Excellent services, clean camp and very helpful personnel! And what beautiful view from restaurant! I know that Mugg&Beans is chain restaurant, but i don't know why, coffee at restaurant at Olifants was the best coffee in Kruger for me. Really good choice.

We had a wonderful time at Olifants. We booked a year in advance and got a rondavel on the outside perimeter fence. SO WORTH IT!!! My husband cooked dinner in the outdoor kitchen, pausing frequently to watch elephants, hippos, kudu, etc frolic in the river below. The accommodations are simple and basic and adequate. If you're looking for luxury, this... More

This SANPARK managed camp has probably the nices view, located over the Olifants river. The rondavels are simple but clean, good barbecue/braii facilities. Reception friendly, good offers for morning and afternoon game drives. Good market to stock up missing food (better to bring frsh food with). Recommended.

Well it is difficult to book as it is so very popular but we secured Number 14 for the weekend. When you walk through that door the view simply takes your breath away. I had forgotten though that as you can spend all your time looking out the front please don't forget to look out of the right hand side... More
