The Camp, which is located on the Olifants River, has a spectacular panorama view! If you do not stay in this camp, definitely stop for a coffee. The service in the restaurant is a bit dodgy, but the view more than makes up for this. Just be careful when sitting under the trees.... there are birds in the branches above,... More

Stayed at Nshawu lodge at Olifants camp in Kruger. This is great accommodation for eight people. The view from the deck overlooking the Olifants river is one of the best views to watch animal and birdlife around the river-just amazing. The lodge is large with plenty of room for you to spread yourself. Bedooms are clean and tidy and fitted with... More

There are wonderful views at Olifant, and the bungalows are nice, but try to book one with a kitchen as the communal kitchens can be quite a walk to get to. We sat and watched a herd of over 40 Elephants with their calves, some really tiny, come down to drink in the river. This from the veranda of our... More

My "Kruger Experience" at Olifants was not as good as I hoped it would be. My rondavel was well positioned with a fine view of the river - elephants crossing it was a delightful site to see. Accommodation is dated and tired/basic. The restaurant is good and dining on the outdoor terrace is very enjoyable. Restaurant staff are friendly, helpful... More

This was our second visit to Olifants. The first time we did a night game drive and we did not see anything during the entire drive. That was disappointing. This year we chose to go out and drive ourselves in the early morning and we only saw... rabbits. You should know we live in a country that has a lot... More

More than anything else the wonderful views from most bungalows are the main attraction to staying here. The rooms are pretty well equipped although decor is somewhat dated and'tired' you are unlikely to stay here primarily for the decor! Our bungalow (no 18) had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen/living area open to the outside and with stunning views over the... More

We stayed two nights in cottage/hut #63. It served our purposes well. We were just so happy to be at Kruger for first time that we didn't mind the old-fashioned accommodations (in fact, it kind of added to the atmosphere). But were are generally campers, so anything above a tent is good! We enjoyed the outdoor table and closeness to... More

It seemed from the consternation amongst the check-in staff that although we had a confirmed reservation, they had not allocated accommodation to us. Well, that is being kind, because if the rondavel that we were eventually allocated was actually specifically reserved (and not just perchance) then this review would struggle to achieve any rating at all. We arrived at the... More

We had a wonderful time at Olifants Camp. The Bungalows are well equipped and the view is amazing. The Mugg and Beans Rest. are really gut and very practical, if you don't want to cook. They also have a small store with everything that you need. We had luck and we saw a lot of animal. We would definitely return.
