We stayed here as part of an organised tour around the Kruger and it was our second base after Berg-en-Dal. We had tried to get in to Skukuza but that was full. The camp itself was very nice, with a very well stocked shop. The restaurant on camp (Wimpy!) was also great, and all the people working at the camp... More

We stayed here in mid July 2014, in a group of 11 adults (friends and family). We were given chalets in the centre of the general camp with a bathroom block about 20 metres away. The bathroom blocks were clean, with good hot water + even bath-tubs! The camp kitchen was a fair walk away as our nearest kitchen was... More

Stayed at Pretoriuskop many times in the past & it never disappoints. It's much quieter than the other camps & has a huge area to walk around with a big pool area away from the accommodation. There are warthogs, guinea fowl & monkeys running around the camp. Our accommodation was wonderful, stayed in a 1 bedroom bungalow (134) and had... More

Just to enjoy the silence of the bush, early morning coffee and later afternoon sundowners in this beautiful part of South Africa makes a visit to the Kruger a great experience. We have seen the big 5 and took great photo's. The shops in the camps are great and we managed to buy the basic stuff needed. We were disappointed... More

We travelled here from KMIA international Airport and entered via Numbi Gate. There were potholes on the road in one part and some construction in a small part but we drove accordingly with no problems. We were in hut 4, in a circle, near the petrol station. The hut was very clean and pleasant, with a covered outside area with... More

We stayed here three weeks ago. The bungalow was wheelchair friendly but the front door was a little tight. The kitchen consisted of a kettle and a two plate hob. Never mind we could eat on site. Unfortunately the new restaurant was at the construction stage. The only place we could get food was at a camp kitchen. As long... More

.We camped here for two nights last month. Pretoriuskop is one of the oldest and biggest camps in Kruger but the camp is not my favorite. Saying that we really enjoyed our stay and we saw some excellent sightings on the roads surrounding Pretoriuskop. We camped in the last area nearest to the fence and it was quite a walk... More

I spent two nights at this camp while on a bird watching tour/safari of Eastern South Africa. The small hut was just one room but was satisfactory while restrooms and showers were in an adjacent building. I kind of liked this camp because it was small and not overly crowded with tourists as were other camps in the park. The... More

We stayed at this camp at the beginning of our five week holiday in Kruger. The hob didnt work and even though we paid for some of the most expensive accommodation I had to use the camp site kitchen in the rain to cook dinner. The hob was supposedly repaired the next day. We returned to Pretorioskop three weeks later... More

While the camp is quite old, the accommodation was very comfortable and contained all we needed. Our family of 4 stayed in a one-room hut which included a bathroom. Clean and nicely painted. Quiet. Our friends stayed in a two-room hut with separate between with bathroom which had an undercover area for eating, which was great. We particularly enjoyed the... More
