We came in the Numbi Gate and Pretoriuskop was just about 15 minutes beyond that. It being the first camp we stayed at there was the usual re Wild Cards and the staff there dealt with it all quite efficiently. We stayed in one of the family cottages (FF6D) which looked out to the fence and immediately regretted that we... More

Stayed for 2 nights in a bungalow here. Everything in the room was up to date and surprisingly clean considering the amount of bugs hanging around outside. However, while the bathroom was huge, it only had a bathtub so we had to use the communal showers, which wasn't too awful. My only complaint is the food. The only option available... More

We stayed for about 3 days, and the Rondovals were really nice. Love the thatched ceilings with AC units and so Clean. The grounds were so peaceful and spaced apart just right for privacy. It was so lovely. We definitely would return. We stayed in other Rondovals in other parks in SA, but found ourselves really impressed with these.

Judging by the exorbitant entry fees and accommodation prices you would expect better upkeep. The showers were musty The blankets were threadbare The pillows were stained Very unfriendly staff No spare mattresses provided despite us paying for them. The thatch was incredibly filthy

We stayed 1 night in Pretoriuskop camp on our last night in the park--a great "final" camp, close to a gate and our drive back to Jo-burg. We upgraded to a nicer bungalow, equipped with a nice kitchen. Felt more "luxury" than some of the other camp bungalows we stayed in. Smaller camp, so a bit more cosy feel. We... More

There are so many different accommodation types available at this camp to suit every budget. A quieter camp, rustic, relaxed feeling. Well maintained neat reception area. Shop adequate with the most basic necessities. Abundance of birds, I enjoyed just listening to the chirping and chattering of the birds.

We stayed in 4 restcamps in total: Skukuza, Punda Maria and Shingwedzi. This is a large camp, good shop and restaurant. No wildlife viewing inside the camp. We stayed in a a BD2D bungalow. It has everything including A/C, outside kitchen, refrigerator, cooking utensils and a personal braai (that is cleaned every day). The good: big camp, lots of space,... More

Stayed in Pretoriuskop and used it as a base for larger Kruger trip. Camp does have more cheaper houses but at the price you pay you can't really complain. I will stay here again but don't expect this to be best camp in kruger. Wimpy was good as well.

This is a lovely camp. All rondavle a are in a circle. Braai facilities, fridge in cage on veranda. Clean room has beds, a/c and bathroom facilities. There is a great shop and restaurant with wi fi. Fuel available. If you have not brought enough supplies including alcohol the shop will have just about everything you need at very good... More

We stayed in Croc Bridge and Lower Sabie and really enjoyed facilities at both. Pretoriuskop came as a bit of a shock to say the least - I am basing this review entirely on the camp and not Kruger or any of the other rest camps. The food here is ghastly at a place called Wimpys, which is your only... More
