We had a memorable stay, although it was very hot. Everybody was very friendly and professional. Our Ranger and Tracker where the best you can wish.We had amazing encounters with the animals. The food and the drinks where more than generous. Thanks to the quiet air-condition in the room we had a good rest!

Lion Sands was quite simply the best place we have ever stayed...by far. Everything was beyond our expectations. The accommodations, the people, the service, the food. The flexibility - everyone was always ready to bend over backwards to meet our needs or desires. And all of the little details made it so special - the notes from our housekeepers, the... More

Went to Tinga with 2 families. 5 minutes from Skukuza airport so transfer was rapid. This was important as it was 43 degrees when we landed. The chilled towels on arrival (and on every return to the Lodge) were a godsend. Great staff all round, but our Guide and Tracker Ismael and Omega were outstanding. Accomodation, food, service all very... More

Unbelievable place and experience. Sitting on your deck watching elephants, hippos and gazelles walk along the river 30 yards away! Sid and George were wonderful field guides that made each drive interesting for the kids and us. Elephants, Rhinos, leopards, lions, wild dogs, hyenas, etc.... Great food as well.

This was the second time I stayed at Lion Sands Tinga Lodge, and I wish I could go back every other month. It's almost everything impeccable. Such a professionally run place, with a number of well thought details to make you have a truly special stay. I have stayed at 3 Lion Sands lodges (Tinga, Narita, and River Lodge) and... More

We are fortunate to travel quite frequent on Safari and were a bit disappointed with Tinga lodge. The arrival was ok and staff brief us on lodge layout and activities. We were shown our room which was room no 2. The seond last room to the right of the lodge. The rooms are big but decor are style. We were... More

Dear Willem and Paul, Thank you for taking the time to share your impression of Lion Sands Tinga Lodge. We strive to provide the best possible safari experience to our guests, and are pleased to see that, overall, you enjoyed your time with us. Due to the low rainfall and extreme heat we’ve been experiencing, game viewing has been challenging.... More

This resort has everything you could possibly imagine and never enough time to take in all of the beauty, in the hotel's surroundings, the beauty of this breathless preserve and the genuine kindness of the people we are surrounded by. We had brilliant game drives every day, our guides were not only knowledgeable about every bird, plant and tree, they... More

Tinga Lodge offers a luxury safari experience in the heart of the Kruger National Park. Expect a superior, spacious suite with an exclusive pool. We were served phenomenal cuisine and our field guide gave us the treasure of ‘the big five’ sightings. We were further pampered with candle lit dinners, sunset drinks in the bush and sumptuous afternoon high teas.... More

My husband and I could have been on our second honeymoon! We were made fell welcome from our arrival when we were served homemade lemonade to when we were waved good bye. Our beautiful suite had personal messages with rose petals for us, and the mini bar was stocked with cold bubbly. We loved our suite's pool, it was great... More
