Reception desk staff are so rude, walked in a greeted the four ladies, not one acknowledged me. While standing waiting the one receptionist says I must go stand somewhere else and wait for another receptionist who was training a trainee. They don't inform you they doing training and ask for your patience. They seem to think they doing you a... More

We enjoyed Satara; there is a Mugg and Bean which we ate a few times for lunch and breakfast. Very good and priced well. The little shop is well stocked so there is no need to take anything into the reserve. Buy what you want there. Our huts had braai/cookout facilities which we used for dinners. Game veiwing in the... This is one of the most popular camp and difficult to find availability and I understand why. The location is great with loads of roads and off roads to explore. The camp is spacious and kept clean and fresh. The reception area, the shop and restaurant is super nice with a view over the bush, and we could see quite... More

It was incredibly hot when we stayed so the effective air con in the rooms was welcome. The pool was also good to have - it was very popular in the middle of the day. Not too refreshing as the outside temp in the mid-40s was warming it up, but we found a place by the hose which was cooler.... More

Although we have stayed in the Kruger over the last 5 years , this was the first time we had visited this camp. Check in was fast, although a little disappointed that our group of 13 were split up between chalets with large gaps in between ( All the other camps had put us together) A larger camp than the... We stayed in several of the rest camps in Kruger, however this was our favourite. The chalet had everything we needed, including a good view of a honey badger, and african wildcat! A good seating area outside, and the pool was very refreshing for a mid-day dip!

Stayed for five nights in March 2015. This is a great restcamp, centrally located at Kruger National Park (KNP): This was my second stay, and both times I have enjoyed the circular layout of the bungalow. The wildlife definitely makes the rounds in the camp, and we were visited regularly by honey badgers, African wild cats, and genets, while braaing.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in January 2015. We had a great time in the basic camping accommodation. We felt it was good value for money, given that it is a camp in the heart of the Kruger. We saw an unbelievable range of animals, and the big 5. The camp offered great safari drives, and we embarked on... More

I love this camp because it is central and it has the biggest lion population of the area. So lots of chances to see lions. The camp has nice rooms (rondavels) that are very quiet with a nice terrace were you can sit and enjoy a braai. The restaurant is one of a chain (Mugg and Bean) and it has... More
