We booked into Jock Safari Lodge in the Kruger because it also allowed us to play Leopard Creek Golf Course, the No.1 rated course in South Africa. What a wonderful experience. The Lodge, food, staff and game viewing was exceptional. Louis and all his team made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Ben, our guide, Lazarus,... More

We spent 5 days at this lodge and was by far the best experience of our lives and we are well travelled. We saw all the big five animals daily and much more, you drive twice a day and each drive is different and better than the last. The vehicles were cosy and they supply lovely blankets. Our ranger was... More

The fact we returned in 2014 after superb visits in 2012 & 2013 around the same time of year speaks volumes. Everything about JSL is just perfect. Great staff, fantastic Rangers, awesome food and located in a concession within the Kruger which always delivers safari moments to treasure forever. We will be returning again for sure and hope this can... More

We spent the first of 3 weeks of our honeymoon here and it was amazing. Our ranger, Mika, was very knowledgeable and gave a great lesson in poo which was far more interesting than you would think and his tracking skills are unbelievable even in the dark. The food was to delicious. Thank you to all the kitchen staff every... More

If you plan to visit the Kruger National Park and stay in a lodge you will not be disappointed at Jock. The staff do their very best to make your stay memorable and they succeed admirably. The accommodation is five star, the food is nicely prepared and presented and the guide assigned to us did more than could be wished... More

We were fortunate enough to stay here ...rooms, service, staff, safari experience were all flawless. Mosquito netted beds quelled our skirmish ness with mosquitoes, but from the warm welcome to the tear worthy farewell, the entire staff was top notch! My mom grew ill while there from the long trip and she was genuinely cared for and we felt we could... More

If you are considering a safari there can not be a better lace to do it from. The bedrooms are brilliant from the roll top bath to the four poster bed. The viewing platform outside with its double day bed was just as comfortable , the plunge pool enabled us to cool down. The rangers were outstanding in their efforts... More

Stayed here on our honeymoon for 4 nights early August, and had an amazing time. Room was amazing, spacious and very clean. Food was faultless, soooooo much of it we were both stuffed for days after leaving. As honeymooners treats we had a half bottle of sparkling wine, a hot bath with candles and petals ready for us on our... More

Here is a superb realistically priced 5 star Safari Lodge. All expected Lodge amenities were available and the Rangers did a superb job in getting us to sightings of the BIG Five, as we all know the dependence on this is a little bit of luck as well. Leopard and Lion sightings were great, it was mating time (the animals... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in May (sorry for the late writeup!). The staff and accomodation were excellent and the food was amazing, be prepared to put on half a stone in 3 days!. We were taken on 5 safaris in total (2 morning and 3 afternoon). The rangers were brilliant, there were only 4 people in our jeep... More
