Stayed here on our honeymoon for 4 nights early August, and had an amazing time. Room was amazing, spacious and very clean. Food was faultless, soooooo much of it we were both stuffed for days after leaving. As honeymooners treats we had a half bottle of sparkling wine, a hot bath with candles and petals ready for us on our... More

Here is a superb realistically priced 5 star Safari Lodge. All expected Lodge amenities were available and the Rangers did a superb job in getting us to sightings of the BIG Five, as we all know the dependence on this is a little bit of luck as well. Leopard and Lion sightings were great, it was mating time (the animals... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in May (sorry for the late writeup!). The staff and accomodation were excellent and the food was amazing, be prepared to put on half a stone in 3 days!. We were taken on 5 safaris in total (2 morning and 3 afternoon). The rangers were brilliant, there were only 4 people in our jeep... More

We stayed at Jock Safari Lodge for a week in August 2014. The level of care and hospitality offered by all of its staff is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are extremely friendly. The food was out of this world and I still miss high tea. Be prepared to put on weight! We celebrated our wedding... More

Jocks is in a perfect private spot inside Kruger with access to its own concession ( lots of land where only it's jeeps can roam ) Without wanting to ruin any surprises the safari starts at the airport so have your camera ready The highlight of this place is definitely the rangers who take you out on the two daily... Location, Rangers, Game Drives, Staff, Service, Facilities all excellent. This was by far the best Safari we have done and being located within the Kruger itself, it has to be the 'Go To' lodge to experience the Kruger at it's best. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the situation of the 12 Lodges is second-to-none. The only area The... More

Family of five, 2 rooms, which are really huts with pools. Regularly fell asleep after the morning game drive and once woke up with a baboon sat on my back eating nougat. the most surreal expirience. Saw elephants walking up the dry river bed that runs along the back of the hotel that the rooms balcony over looked. very good... More

This was my first visit to South Africa and my first safari and I cannot imagine ever having a better experience - from the game drives, with the wonderful Ben, to the wonderful food (Kudu Curry was the highlight) and great staff. The location and accommodation were brilliant with the secluded villas offering luxury - the outside plunge pool, sunbathing... More
