Jocks is in a perfect private spot inside Kruger with access to its own concession ( lots of land where only it's jeeps can roam ) Without wanting to ruin any surprises the safari starts at the airport so have your camera ready The highlight of this place is definitely the rangers who take you out on the two daily... Location, Rangers, Game Drives, Staff, Service, Facilities all excellent. This was by far the best Safari we have done and being located within the Kruger itself, it has to be the 'Go To' lodge to experience the Kruger at it's best. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the situation of the 12 Lodges is second-to-none. The only area The... More

Family of five, 2 rooms, which are really huts with pools. Regularly fell asleep after the morning game drive and once woke up with a baboon sat on my back eating nougat. the most surreal expirience. Saw elephants walking up the dry river bed that runs along the back of the hotel that the rooms balcony over looked. very good... More

having talked about doing a safari for years we finally got our act together this summer. Knowing full well that it was winter in SA we and our dear friends Colin and Birgitta decided to go for a luxury safari experience. After weeks of travel agents and google we asked ImagingAfrica to arrange our holiday for us. Jen and the... More

This was my first visit to South Africa and my first safari and I cannot imagine ever having a better experience - from the game drives, with the wonderful Ben, to the wonderful food (Kudu Curry was the highlight) and great staff. The location and accommodation were brilliant with the secluded villas offering luxury - the outside plunge pool, sunbathing... More

This is a beautiful lodge in a spectacular location. Friendly staff, beautiful room. To whoever ran a bath and left flowers and candles after a long and late safari drive, I am eternally touched! A braai one night and romantic candlelit dinner another. Friendly staff and guests. Excellent rangers (Micah), amazing bush walk, great safari drives. Loads of rhino, wild... More

My friend and I stayed at Jock in April as part of a wider trip to SA (which included several safari stays), and had a truly unforgettable experience. Everyone, from the friendly welcome staff, the brilliant GM, the wonderful cook and the amazing rangers, contributed to making this a truly special experience. Each went out of their way to make... We stayed at Jock Safaris Lodge for 4 nights from the 12-16 July 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff who were most welcoming and courteous and this experience continued for our entire stay. Special thanks to Ranger Patrick who worked tirelessly to show us the amazing wildlife and the beautiful landscape in this... More
