I would not stay here again as our accommodation wasn't very nice. There were ants in the kitchen, the room was ok but very outdated and tatty. One of the lights in our room didn't work and maintenance came and fixed this quickly. Food was ok as was service. We had a car and spent a lot of time driving... More

I have visited kruger since I was a child so I understand the charm of the basic accommodation in the bungalows. Nevertheless, our most recent trip was quite disappointing. Our room was in desperate need of an upgrade. Sheets didn't fit the mattresses properly. Linen was stained and so were the walls and floors. The fridge is so old and... More

Lovely accommodation in quaint rondavals which our students found delightful. Camping also looked well set up. Well equipped camp with excellent shop. Didn't try the restaurant but the take away store & supermarket were great.

Of the six camps I have visited and stayed in in Kruger National Park, Skukuza is by far the biggest. Close to the southwest-side entry gates it is also close to Johannesburg and other heavily populated areas in the region and can therefore get crowded, incl. visits by large groups. On the positive side is that it is closer to... More

We stayed in Skukusa but did our Game Drives and meals with Outlook Safaris. The units looked like rondavels, so that was fun! The accommodations in Skukuza were quite rustic, although our unit had a little fridge and a kettle for boiling water on the screened porch. The emphasis seemed to be on conservation; that's the only reason I can... More

I stayed at Skukuza Restcamp for 2 days with a tour group. I found the accomodations good considering we were in the middle of Kruger Park. The "huts" were not luxurious but again we were in the middle of the park. Air conditioner unit worked good, beds were okay, bathroom and shower basic but did the job. The grounds were... More

This is a great rest camp, we had a large cottage over looking the river. Neat and clean facilities and cottage, nice deck and brai area. I did not look at the other rooms/accommodations but the large cottage was great. Definitely one of the larger, better camps. We also love Mopani, which is further north.

Stayed at Skukuza for 3 nights in a semi luxury riverside bungalow which was clean and spacious and had a great aspect overlooking the river which had plenty of Hippos and Crocodiles on view.Bungalow was very good value for money in comparison to private camps. However,as other guests have commented the restaurant was awful, both food and service. After a dreadful dinner... More

Skukuza was exactly what we expected for a restcamp and the room was clean and acceptable. The restaurant met our expectation and the service was faultless. We much preferred Skukuza to Letaba and found the staff here much more helpful

The chalet had two bathrooms and an outside covered area next to the Braii. We made our own way around on the good standard of roads and saw plenty of game. The next day we went on an organised tour and saw less game, but did mange to see a pride of lions in front of our vehicle upon returning... More
