We arrived on their private air strip and were greeted with warm hospitality. The food was amazing. Our game driver and tracker wonderful. We saw lots of game as we traveled through the bush day and night. All the staff went out of their way to make our visit special. We want to go back.

We visited three safari camps this trip (Mombo and Vumbura in Botswana), and Royal Malewane is the best of the best. The large and comfortable accommodations here, with our own private deck with plunge pool and wood burning fireplace in the spacious sitting area of our room, (free wifi provided), are by far superior to the other camps. The service... More

We stayed at the Royal Malewane for 4days/3nights and had the experience of a lifetime. Not only was the hotel beautifully appointed and laid out, the rooms were magnificent and had lots of privacy and we experienced the best hospitality staff i have ever come across. Their kindness, care and hospitality was extraordinary. We came to know all of them... More

I absolutely cannot describe how much I love this resort and the people, but will certainly try. We flew in to the runway right outside the resort and were picked up by John and Jonus our guide and tracker. We were greeted by Rene, Sophie, Andrew, the manager, and Warren and a cold cloth and juice. The minute we stepped... More

My husband and I just got home from 3 amazing nights at Royal Malewane. Every aspect of the vacation far exceeded our expectations. We had a hard time deciding between Royal Malewane and Singita, but now I can't imagine trading this experience for anything. Our room was lovely (large bathrooms, comfortable bed and bedding, stocked/free mini bar, outdoor shower, plunge... More

Our large extended family ranging in age from 10 to 70 enjoyed the Royal Malewane for so many reasons. The accommodations are beautiful and spacious. The staff is warm and attentive. You definitely will not go hungry during your stay. Not only was the food extraordinary, we were provided with options for where we dined so that it worked best... More

By definition, sublime, the term, refers to a greatness beyond all possibility of calculation, measurement, or imitation. Royal Malewane, is sublime luxury in South African safari visits. If you are booking here, you are already familiar with first class and this place will not disappoint. The furnishings are very formal and luxurious, but the casual, friendliness of each and every... My family and I, a group of 9, traveled around Africa for 3 weeks before we ended our travels at the Africa House in Royal Malewane. After staying at beautiful tented camps and accommodations around Southern Africa, it was our weekend- spent relaxing at a Royal Malewane. For a large group or family, Africa House is a must! We all... More

We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites. The rooms are big and luxurious. The large glass doors open up to an outdoor deck which has a private pool and amazing views. It's very tranquil. A great spot for a mid day nap, morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. At night we could hear the lions roar... More

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Malewane during the second week of September. We arrived from a lodge that we had loved, thinking that it would be hard to top and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The accommodations are wonderful - you are there for the game drives, but wish you could spend more time... More
