Great camp in Kruger and a must on your list. Fantastic braai area at bungalows and good clean spacious accommodation. Good game viewing and Close to some great loops. Different type of terrain compared to other parts of Kruger, lots of koppies and views.

This is not a bad camp however the bungalows need some serious attention. The family bungalow with 2 bedrooms we stayed in with 2 couples and one child is very outdated and is strangely laid out with a very small shower room which one can hardly get into. The separate toilet is also very strange with the actual toilet 'bowl'... More

The camp is well situated in the lower side of Kruger, the restaurants and shops in the camp are ok, the rooms itself were tiny and felt like a vacation park from the 80'ies, never the less you are here to spot wildlife what we were able to do alot. The waterhole at the camp is a bit strange created... More

My friend and I stayed in a bungalow with 3 beds, kitchen and A/C and bath. Very comfortable! We had a thatched roof and a nice deck on the back. While I was sitting outside in the dark an African Cat jumped down off the thatched roof and ran right past me! We walked around the camp at night and... More

We booked 2 cabins for 5 people total. Reach cabin had room for 3 people. One if the cabins toilets was not working... Apart from that the cabins are nice, if a bit small. The view is great. The restaurant on location is good, but vegetarians won't have many options there...

This is a lovely camp, clean and well run. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. The whole camp is clean and well looked after. The restaurant at this camp is outstanding. The staff are friendly and well versed in the menu. I had a kudu pie which was so tasty and beautifully presented. All the food my family ate was... More

Ranger Nicol and tracker Obe spoiled us with the best rhino and elephant sightings in 15 years They also kept cool heads and saved the day and us when a black rhino charged our group The camp is rustic which is great and the drinking hole next to the camp provides top viewing of game coming to drink Best food... The cottages at Berg-en-Dal are fairly basic, like most Parks Board camps, but have everything you need for a few night's stay in the Kruger Park. We spent 2 nights in the camp, and would have been happy to stay on another night or 2. We spent our days out driving in the southern parts of the park and, even... More

This is one of those few places that you can get all the types of accommodation from driving your own caravan to personal tents to Chalets, meals and of cause wildlife at its best. I personally love the place as it gives tranquillity and peace of mind that you need in a wilderness retreat. They offer group safari tours to... More

The camp site is excellent. Location inside the park ensures that you get the night safari and other activities that residents outside the park cannot access. The store is well stocked with essentials and the restaurant offers a delicious choice. A little understaffed but all the amenities are provided.
